What is Reddit's opinion of The Uncanny X-Men Omnibus Vol. 1?

If you're into over-sized hardcovers, the Claremont Uncanny X-Men Omnibuses are getting reprints this year starting with volume 1 this month. Similarly, some very popular Omnibu like Whedon's Astonishing X-men and Remender's Uncanny X-Force were just recently reprinted.

Here's the listing on Amazon. It'll be much cheaper on websites like InStockTrades and CheapGraphicNovels, but they don't do pre-orders so they won't have listings until the book is out.

Get the Omnibus instead it’s $90 and covers #94-131, while Second Gensis EC is $60 and covers #94-110.

Yes that's the X-Treme X-Men run I mentioned. While it is a decent jumping on point it expects you to know somewhat about main cast already and doesn't really give as much Storm character development as his first run.

If you are looking at omnibus, I'd pick up Uncanny X-Men Omnibus Vol. 1 and go forward if you like it. It is getting reprinted within the next month or two so don't pay over cover price. Everything is delayed so I don't know the date, but CGN says 12/21.

You can almost collect the whole thing in OHC. Starts with Omnibus Vol. 1. But it gets a little weird after Vol. 4. So I will list my collection here, which covers the whole 16 year Claremont run.
