I’ll point out that a Washington Post subscription is very worthwhile if you can afford it.
If you have Amazon Prime, the first six months are free and subsequent months are $3.99.
If you can support quality journalism, please consider it.
EDIT: This link should take you to the correct page
Hi eureka! Washington Post here to help. There are ways to get free access to our site. As /u/trackless already pointed out, a .edu address will work! And if you have trouble with that, feel free to DM me.
If you or your family has Amazon Prime, you can get free access for 6 months. Apologies to the mod for the little self-promo, just trying to help out.
Thanks for your interest in reading us. I'm around if you have any other questions! - Gene
What is the best and worst thing about your job? How is it different from what you thought it would be when you were in school?
Also, those who have thought about subscribing to the Post and have Amazon Prime, you can get a discount. Six months free and then 3.99/month to support journalism.
Sorry you hit the paywall. There's a number of ways to subscribe for free, including if you have an Amazon Prime account! But if you want to see the whole exchange, see our other comment on this thread. It's just on YouTube.
> WP should remove the semi-paywall for this article.
If you have an Amazon Prime account, you can get WaPo free for six months, then pay $4 a month after that. You won't find a deal this good anywhere else for a daily paper of this quality. The mobile app is also pretty solid.
For anyone who is interested in a WaPo digital subscription AND is a member of Amazon Prime: you can get six months free and a reduced monthly subscription of $3.99 after that.
Here's the link.
And remember that if you have Amazon Prime you can get a Washington Post subscription for free for 6 months, then a low cost after that. Totally worth it, and WaPo still gets paid.
I didn't pay for any before 2016, except in spurts when I got trial discounts of the NYT. Now I'm paying for print subscriptions of the NYT and WSJ and digital subscriptions to both of them and WaPo. If anyone is making a killing here, it's news media.
FYI, WaPo is available with a discount if you subscribe through your Amazon Prime account. (3.99/m)
I hate that WP is paywall, but they have good articles. I used to clear my cookie history, then after Trump, I bought the Amazon WP subscription another r/politics redditor posted. It was a special, free for 6 months, then 3.99 each months after that. Now it is just the 3.99.
My little bit to help the free press.
The Washington Post is full of outstanding journalism and its only $3.99 a month if you order it through Amazon Prime's digital subscription. The first 6 months are free. I tried it out and just loved being able to click on every article since so much good stuff is posted from them.

We do have promotions like that! Although so far we haven't had the Nixon promotion... although I am seriously going to suggest that. Do you have Amazon Prime? It's $4/month with Prime. [link]
To the mods: Please forgive us we don't mean to just do sales here, just answering a question and dropping a link.
Here's the link for the Amazon Prime/WaPo deal! Fair warning: the free six months expires and you'll be automatically charged, so just note to self if it's something you'll reconsider down the line! Thanks for asking. - Gene
And you can get a ridiculous deal if you also have amazon prime!
6 months free then $4/mo after that. Normally $10/mo.
If you have a .gov or .mil address you can get us for free.
Also, if you're an Amazon Prime user, you get us free for 6 months and then it's heavily discounted at $4 a month afterward (but you will get auto-subbed so be wary of that).
For once, yes I am a paid shill, for myself. Let me know if you have any questions or have any trouble if any of the above applies to you! Thanks for reading.
If you're an Amazon Prime member you get it for 6 months free too.
For anyone that doesn't know: if you have Amazon Prime you can get a free 6 month subscription to WaPo.
It's definitely worth it!

Happy Saturday to all my fellow HRC sock puppets, I am happy to see that Biden is standing up for himself with Hunter. I believe firmly with maintaining civility in political discourse whenever possible and avoiding unnecessary attacks but Biden needs to be more aggressive in general right now overall. Hopefully he will show some teeth (possibly a poor choice of wording) in this next debate. I understand that he’s going for a non confrontational approach within the Democratic primary but he has been walked over by candidates in previous ones by candidates who are looking for a sound bite. He isn’t challenging his competitors like he should be. I have no doubt he will have fire in spit if he makes it to the general against Trump but he won’t get there holding back in the way he is at the moment. His foreign and domestic policy plans are solid AF but if he doesn’t begin to firmly point out the cracks in the other candidate’s proposals compared to his, no one is going to know what makes him a good choice for 2020. He should have challenged Yang months ago about with what a sham his $1,000 UBI monthly check is and explain to Americans that in reality he is asking to gut our nations social welfare programs. Maybe go after Elizabeth Warren for her protectionist trade policy that is more America First/America Alone Trump BS. And above all he needs to call Bernie out for his populist demagogue game. Biden doesn’t have to be a bully but he’s not going to make much progress in the polls if the next debate is everyone else vs. Biden.
off my soapbox for now
The Where’s Hunter? shirts that the Trump campaign is selling has me a little heated for Joe.
