The Zowie Camade is a really good one. I personally use this one since it was the only really good one on amazon. I would have got the Camade if it was available on amazon. The one I use fits the thick Logitech cables (I have the G403).

If your friend plays a lot of FPS games, you could consider getting him a mouse bungee cord such as this. You can find a good range of them for $20-$30 bucks, and the higher end ones even have extra USB connectors and the like.

Looks like Thermaltake has a good solution, in the quick video they have it shows that the slot in which the mouse cord is placed is made out of rubber, which to me seems like any sized cable can fit in it.

I got annoyed by wires too, especially since I use low sensitivity in CSGO and have to move my mouse around a lot which causes my mouse to get caught on itself. I would recommend buying a mouse bungie, it makes it as if you have no wire.
