In addition to his professional work, Dr. Hodes has adopted the maximum number of children allowed in Ethiopia and cares for many more. He is sending his new children high school/college (I have met and spent time with four of them - they are all very cool and are growing up straddling two worlds).

Any press is good press for him - the more his work is known, the more people want to help and are willing to donate their time, skills and money.
