The Erogamer on QQ is probably the best story in that genre that I've read.
Something that borrows some of the elements is Threadbare, by Andrew Seiple, which was first posted as a web serial on SV. Not exactly rationalist, but still a fun read.
I recommend Threadbare which is a series of three books and about ~320K words. Completed and on Amazon, also available on SpaceBattles and Sufficient Velocity.
Reminds me of that Threadbare book.
Threadbare and Small Medium by Andrew Seiple.
If you are OK with Xianxia, Beware of Chicken on Royal Road. It's cultivation parody where one of the gags is lots of people mistake the hero for a wise mystic.
Thanks, glad you like Arcane Ascension!
The author of Threadbare is Andrew Seiple. You can find it here. It is, in fact, about a teddy bear - or, perhaps more accurately, a Greater Golem in the shape of a teddy bear that is gradually growing more and more intelligent. His creator is a powerful golem-specialized mage type, and he quickly grows attached to his creator's daughter, who is a lower level mage with the same general specialization - at least at first.
The story starts out very simple, with the teddy bear golem trying to survive and protect this little girl from small child level threats. It very rapidly escalates into much crazier content, as you might expect in a world where people actually have classes and levels.
It's cleverly disguised as a children's book, but it's plenty enjoyable for people who are going to understand all the old school gaming references hidden in there, too.
Threadbare by Andrew Seiple is a story that follows the growth of a stuffed bear golem. It’s one of the best litrpgs out there, IMO.
Here are a few that I find myself recommending often, which also seem to fit what I think you're looking for:
I typically read, not listen, so I can't speak to the quality of the audiobooks, but I enjoyed all of these a lot.

Edit: Cleaned up links
I'd like to put foward Threadbare as an example of a general LitRPG done excellently.
It's not exactly the same thing, but: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078KGS4V4
Yeah, I feel ya. Getting to the end chapter on RR and realising there's going to be a loonggg wait for the end (indeed if it ever happens) can be frustrating. So in terms of things which are all finished that I've read recently:
LitRPG:
Progression fantasy with gamelike elements:
Is this tied in any way to Threadbare? It perfectly fits the creature types presented in the later parts of those works.
A story by Andrew Seiple, Threadbare is about a teddy bear golem who does its best to protect it’s owner.
Andrew Seiple on Amazon has two series that he's written: Threadbare and Bunker Core. The first is a LitRPG story from the perspective a Toy Golem Teddy Bear and the other is a post apoc dungeon core story. Both are very well written. Threadbare has two direct sequels and a sequel story that just went up on Amazon called Small Medium: Big Trouble which is still currently on Spacebattles for free under the profile Lost Demiurge. He seems to be posting his stories as he writes them there and on Sufficient Velocity until they are completed, edited, and setup on Kindle before taking them down.
You can jump right to Small Medium without reading the Threadbare story but there are some world building elements that could spoil it slightly.
I was just about to recommend this one!
I read it when it was being written on a forum, but here's a link to the amazon page.
Definitely worth the price.
There are plenty of other progressive web serials that are plenty long.
Defiance of the Fall is a pretty popular straight forward action adventure type of story with lots of progression and fighting but not a ton of character building. ~3k pages
Seaborn is one of the most popular works on RoyalRoad for a reason, the writing is excellent, the world building and characters are good. It's only 600 pages but it's totally worth checking out.
Threadbare is another great series that happens to be complete and has sequels out. 1.2k pages and it's available as an edited trilogy on amazon if you don't mind paying a couple bucks.
Other progression fantasy I follow but don't want to spend the effort blurbing is Savage Divinity, Forge of Destiny, Wandering Inn (super long series).
Everybody Loves Large Chests.
Please be warned that both DO get rather NSFW. The sex and violence isn't gratuitous but it's there.
For a more PG work, Threadbare comes highly recommended.
Threadbare.
"Meet Threadbare. He is twelve inches tall, full of fluff, and really, really bad at being a hero.
Magically animated and discarded by his maker as a failed experiment, he is saved by a little girl. But she's got problems of her own, and he might not be able to help her.
Fortunately for the little golem, he's quick to find allies, learn skills, gain levels, and survive horrible predicaments. Which is good, because his creator has a whole lot of enemies..."
