What is Reddit's opinion of THRUSTMASTER Hotas Warthog Flight Stick (PC DVD)?

It's just because the joystick alone is listed as "Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Flight Stick" on Amazon. Same as she wrote it in the OP.

Availability of the warthog has been poor for the last year, with everyone in lockdown buying up stock. You may have some luck on the 2nd hand market, or amazon sellers (depending on your region, e.g. UK has it)

Personally though, for that price, I'd recommend going for the VKB Gladiator NXT Premium instead of the Warthog stick. I have the VKB stick at home and use the warthog at work - the Gladiator NXT feels far nicer and has a better compliment of buttons. I have also heard that the parts in the Warthog stick base aren't as high quality as those used by the likes of VKB, Virpil, etc.

I bought the whole set then realised that the joystick does not have a yaw function built in. I want to keep the HOTAS, but not the stick. Thrustmaster states I would have to return everything back. I can still send this back under 14 days returns period (valid till Sept 9).

If someone wants this cheaper than the store at £100 + postage, then it is yours. I would prefer you just came picked it up. I am a lazy sod. I am based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. I can set up a laptop with the software so you can test it at the door, if you wish.

They sell on Amazon for £146 atm.
And at Thrustmaster themselves for£283.99

I know these are highly sought after as there is a shortage of flight sticks over the last year. I am not interested in lower offers. I will quite happily take a £40 hit, but anything below that I will just send the whole lot back. If you want it posting I want the cash upfront obviously.
