Glad to hear it. It's a shame to see nice hardwood go to waste these days. I think you'll be stoked when you have an end table made from your tree. Not to wax long here but you won't be able to air dry that and just take it to a dealer and sell it. They want all their stuff kiln dried to ensure uniform moisture content and to kill off any and all pests and their eggs. They might offer to do it for you of you go that route.
