Umm you told him 20 min, he sat in their for 2+ hrs... He clearly spent to much time emptying his asshole. My dad did this when I was growing up and It always freaked me out that it was such a production and the family had to be involved because how long he took interrupting other things. I have had a few boyfriends also spend an obscene amount of time and Itnkilled any mystery. it is annoying af and can lead to other issues like leg circulation problems from sitting on the toilet so long. My dad (78) a few years ago fell asleep and ended up leaning against the sink vanity and lost feeling in his arm for 3 weeks and had to go see a neurologist.
I even got my dad a toilet timer for Father’s Day two years ago. The fact that it exists is proof that your husband isn’t alone in this super annoying and gross habit.

I would suggest that he go into the bathroom without his phone or reading material so he won’t get distracted. Throwing a fit and not eating dinner is extremely immature.
