They're only $12.99 a pop on Amazon.
Not much more than standard outlets. The price has plummeted since they're becoming the standard in new construction.
You can still replace the outlets, it's not that hard.
Sure you're paying to upgrade your landlord's property if you leave it behind but you could also switch it back out before you move out.
You can even get ones with USB ports built in.
Have an outlet or two that are hardwired to 120 and not through your inverter. What if you want to run a space heater while your at a RV park?
I completely redid a popup camper electrical system from scratch last year.
Go buy a small circuit breaker box. I was able to find one that took just 2 breakers. I know they make 4 and 6 as well.
SOLDER EVERYTHING. Remember, this isn't a house, its going down the road and shaking around and vibrating. Solder every single connection you can, then put on heat shrink tube.
Do it right, and you'll never need to do it again.
The other posts are right. Put a USB outlet http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MNU668A?psc=1 Next to the bed and in the kitchen. Bam, no more worrying about carrying around chargers for your phones and tablets.
Everything is expensive on that site. It's expensive relative to the item.
Here's a "cheap" item I did 2 seconds of research on:
Daylight robbery for frivolous shit. Don't be a sucker, get a sense of value.

That's a TOPGREENER TU2152A 2.1A USB Outlet.
It's not MFI certified.
I wouldn't.
For $15 you can buy the new sockets that have 2 USB outlets in them as well. Shop around and make sure you find one that outputs enough Amperage for your pi needs.
