I agree the pairing of a single 10 Gbps and two gigabit ports is a curious one. It probably comes down to what the underlying chipset supports and what TP-Link could buy in volume for a good price. Based on the XE200 product page and the mention of "WAN/LAN auto sensing", you can either have a 10 Gbps WAN + gigabit LAN, or have a 10 Gbps LAN-to-LAN connection between two nodes + a gigabit WAN port. Either way, real-world performance of a 8x8 to 8x8 (node-to-node) wireless connection will be interesting to see. There aren't many 8x8 devices out there as far as I'm aware.
I am a bit behind on Deco product news, but at first glance the XE75 or XE75 Pro with a single 2.5 Gbps WAN and two gigabit LAN ports probably makes more sense for most people. Still, it's exciting to see these new models coming out.
