Keep in mind, i installed my card label side DOWN. so if you look at this picture: https://i.redditmedia.com/RiSTDG1D36XEPjkYSAiu_uqq-KOmvgLIPLAbCg2-AlA.jpg?w=320&s=7a273f04b363af571c20ddf616a41d87
it's the 3rd one. If you're unsure, open Bluetooth Explorer, connect your MM and start unplugging antennas one by one. In my case, when i removed the BT antenna, my signal went from -60 to -90 dB so i knew this was the BT one.
I used this to extend it. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0054TY8GY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1
I removed the antenna corresponding to the bluetooth. Attached the extension cable. And attached the antenna at the other end of the cable and brought it up to my desk.
Signal went from fluctating -59 to -65 dB to a steady -44 dB. So roughly 10X increase
Well crap. I got excited, as a reviewer for this cable mentioned the lower frequencies didn't suffer as much from signal loss, at least for him. He said he was running 25' for 2.5 and 5 Ghz.
I was planning on getting this kit and simply running 10' of extension cable (x3) from each the antennas to my remote, with the 3 antennas mounted to a post on my porch. Since I want to try that extender kit anyway, I'd really only be out the cost of the cable if it didn't work.
What about a signal amplifier?
