I'm about a week in to my trial of my first Tramontina Professional Fusion fry pan. This thing is blowing me away. Makes my All Clad fry pan feel like garbage. Besides the fact that this is the most nonstick nonstick pan I've ever owned, I love the fact that the silicone handle cover comes off if you want to put this thing under higher heat in the oven. This is something you don't really think about but I also love that the rivets do NOT protrude into the cook surface side of the pan. Seems silly but having that ENTIRE cook surface nonstick and rivet free makes a HUGE difference in being able to keep this pan clean and gunk free. I'm in love.
When I buy cookware, I plan on using it until it has no life so I'm looking for something I LIKE to cook with. I'm not worried about "resale value" because, frankly, that's just silly based on how *I* use my gear. The difference in price between the two was fairly significant so, again, if you *ARE* worried about resale value, I would imagine the depreciation on the All Clad - in dollars - would be equal to or higher than the COST of the Tramontina.
Just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.
