Nofap definitely helps heaps! I was in the same situation as you, good looking but very awkward, tense, bad posture and all that. I have to recommend something called Trauma Release exercises. Our bodies hold on to a lot of tension after traumatic experiences, which often lead to tension and awkwardness. After reading a book on this and doing some of the exercises, I began to relax. I'm now a lot more confident, chilled out, more of a cool guy than I used to be. I'm sure it'll help you too bro. This is the book I read - http://www.amazon.com/Trauma-Releasing-Exercises-TRE-revolutionary/dp/1419607545/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1434258085&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=traumatic+release+exercise
It's totally a good thing. Same thing started with me quite spontaneously as a I went with my psychotherapy, it begun as I was able to work my traumas and problems mentally also the body was ready to release tension and emotions. It shocked me a bit in the beginning as I didn't know what was happening and it felt like some kind of epileptic seizure. Luckily I came across of David Berceli's TRE exercises and found shaking and trembling to be body's natural way to release tension and trauma.
I'd suggest you to look into TRE, there's a lot of information floating around. https://traumaprevention.com/ https://www.amazon.com/Trauma-Releasing-Exercises-TRE-revolutionary/dp/1419607545
It consists of a few simple physical drills and you can do them without therapist if there isn't a dedicated teacher or a group near you. For some reason, it's surprisingly popular here in the northern Europe.

> Do you have any links or recommendations on what exactly has worked for you?
I'd suggest watch some of the videos on their website., and on youtube, then maybe decide to buy the book.
I learned for the book, it's totally worth it if not just to see if it works. If you're really hesitant about paying then maybe obtain it... otherwise, and buy the book later if it worked.
There's also a DVD around, you'll find it on amazon too.

> What exactly are they?
The guy who made the method apparently has a history of helping people with trauma. He invented this method, wrote a book and decided he could earn some money while helping people. Look at their page linked above and take what you want from it. I guess it's sort of like TM in that they take this very basic thing and make a businness out of it, but it still doesn't mean it's not effective.
> Is there a technical name of the treatment that I could formally research (in Google Scholar et cetera?). Thanks.
Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) would be the thing to search for.
AFAIK, most of the research done are funded by themselves, and you can find it on their webpage I linked to above. I haven't looked into it, I honestly don't feel the need to when I have experienced first hand that it works.
Hope this can help!
Maybe look into voluntary psychogenic tremors.
