The weights and traxxas are basically the same thing, only difference is thickness (which affects speed and gumminess). Traxxas is the cheapest if you get it on Amazon (50cc for $10 but you need your own syringe because the dispensing tip it comes with sucks, SCS sells a 10cc empty lube syringe with dispensing tip for $3) and I just refill the syringe from the bottle of traxxas when it gets empty and whatever cleanup I need to do gets wiped on a cube.
I would probably go with Martian or silk but they do make your cube faster so I would pair it with a super heavy lube like 30k/50k/weight 5 on the base of the corner or using cosmos/compound V to balance out the speed. If you can only pick one lube for all of your cubes, I would go with traxxas 10k from Amazon. It's cheaper to purposely over lube your cube with traxxas. I still have like 1/3 of a bottle of 50k that I bought 9 years ago that I use in every single cube but I also have a lot of other lube that I've been using.
I would buy this lube and use it for both the pieces and the core. Just put a line of lube on one or two pieces and watch a tutorial for lubing a core if you don't know how.
i have an amazon gift card and I want to get the right lube for my Qiyi Wuque.
Which of these would be the best for my Wuque?
I found Traxxas 10k on Amazon.
This page lists a couple of Canadian online stores that should have lubes with more reasonable shipping :)
Here’s the stock weight:

Tried using doorstops to change the angle as others have suggested, but that raises the height of the whole unit so you still need a high wrist rest and ideally an elevated armrest too, which becomes a hassle.
Using this 3M wrist rest is just the perfect angle for me, and I can rest me elbow on my desk or slightly hang it below it.
Compared with a Slimblade I would much rather have this, especially since the 4-5 button placement is probably much better now, I was having a hard time reaching for them when I changed the angle to flat. The comparison now becomes better buttons on the expert vs (probably) better scrolling on the Slimblade.
The scrolling on my unit is pretty decent, looks like the scroll wheel is lubed from below but not the sides which creates the slight rattle sound some people are mentioning. Idk if they took notice and changed it but it really doesn't bother me as much as people were saying, I also like that the scroll and mouse movement never interfere with each other. I'll probably open it up one day and lube it better, but so far I'm glad I went with wireless and better buttons.
Hope that helps anyone deciding between the two or people who have an expert right now.
Also, for new users, face oil will help lube the ball pretty well, but I've found using lightweight silicone lube on the bearings helped A LOT with the smoothness and even precision of the mouse since the slight bumpy feel at low speeds made the mouse less precise for something like selecting a specific portion of text. I used some lubicle speedy which is a lube for Rubik's cubes, but Traxxas 10k on Amazon would be a cheap easy alternative, and a good lube to keep around, especially for any plastic-plastic purposes. It didn't make the ball gummy or anything to the touch, but I put a very small amount, just wet my finner and spread on the bearings. Silicone lube is also non toxic if anyone is concerned with that.
5$ on Amazon atm:

The thicker 50k lube is better for all-purpose stuff, and would probably still do the job here and lst slightly longer without having to re-lube, but I haven't tried it.
Well, the problem is, I dont know where those shops are, and I dont know what a cst value is...
Since you recommended Traxxas 10k, will this be a good lube to buy and put into my cube? https://www.amazon.de/Traxxas-13-042-Differential-Modell-Kfz-Teile/dp/B000BOR0C6/
I would get Z-Lube from fasttech or DNM (from thecubicle) along with some Traxxas 10k (from amazon), which also works nice for the GTS2. However the GTS2 can take a lot of lube without slowing down, but QiYi's big cubes like the WuQue would slow down a lot if you put a bunch of Traxxas in. I recommend putting a little bit of 10k in then putting Z Lube until it reaches a good speed.
