As I don't often have anyone in the back (Picked it up July 31 and so far no one) I pop off the headrests and put them in a shopping bag in the 'trunk'
As far as the rear window wipers not getting the whole back window, you can replace them with this, and it'll get it all.

These from Trico are 15" and they fit just fine
Then there's the 16" Bosch that works as well. (remember, adding an extra inch means 1/2" on either side)
The Bosch A380H 15" also works.
