The Original Fidget Retro: The Rubberized Classic Controller Game Pad Fidget Focus Toy
here's the exact one I got! i highly recommend it. I got the fidget cube but the cube shape made it impossible to hold comfortably in my hands, this one is a lot like a tiny remote kind of, but it fits in my hand way better and I feel like its actually a thing I can carry around and use discreetly.
I think you would really like a fidget pad

It’s like a mini game controller. Similar to a fidget cube, but the shape and positioning might be better for you if you’re used to clicking pens. I ordered one for myself from Amazon but it hasn’t come yet.
I'm gonna recommend this guy, I've recommend it before to others: https://www.amazon.com/Original-Fidget-Retro-Rubberized-Controller/dp/B06ZYKCPWR
For you specifically, there's a really nice switch on the back of one of the ends. It's a solid, satisfying click that for me needs a bit of pressure to click. Also, it might be hard to see from the pictures, but the edge of other side has a spring loaded piece that you can pull back and snaps back into place. It doesn't have as much resistance as the switch, but it makes a solid click sound as well. 2 of the buttons are clicky buttons as well. For me it's been solidly made, and has held up well, but it is kinda small. It's made to be pocket sized, and I think some of the reviews show the size if you are concerned about that.
For schoolwork: -noise cancelling earbuds (they’re a life saver)
-fidget toys (quiet ones like flippy chains and fidget remotes since they fit in your hand really nicely) ALSO bumpy side that’s perfect for during class and is my personal favorite! Remote is linked below
-a physical planner just in case
-NOT A PRODUCT BUT A TIP: use your phone calendar to put in assignment due dates and can set to remind hours or day before. Put classes in there too. It’s awesome for time awareness and memory issues.
-all different kinds and sizes of post-it notes
-an emotional water bottle and small snacks you can eat in between classes
I can’t think of anything else right now but I probably will later lol.
I own both of the fidget toys above (I keep one at home and one at work), and if I'm feeling antsy I sometimes play around with these to help 'take the edge off' a little.
((cross-posted - not trying to spam my reply, I've just read a couple other posts today that also asked about fidget toys :) ))

(I don't own this one, but thought it might be helpful as well! <3 )
I own both of the fidget toys above (I keep one at home and one at work), and if I'm feeling antsy I sometimes play around with these to help 'take the edge off' a little. I also play with my hair (split ends) and pick at skin around my nails (among other things), and am trying to do those less as they're obviously more destructive to me - so the fidget toys are a nice way of redirecting my energy/focus to something else. Hope this is helpful! <3
(Btw, am currently self-diagnosed and 37 years old, so I feel ya!)
Well, there's the Fidget Pad and fidget cubes. Do NOT get an Antsy Labs cube if you want the thumstick to click; theirs doesn't do that and honestly their thumstick sucks!
Here's some one handed fidgets: Ono Roller or Ono Roller Jr.

I can keep going. There's honestly a ton of great options over on Etsy, I'd suggest taking a look for yourself! 🙂
