To remove scratches on Lexan bodies you will need to use a paint safe sandpaper with a basic solution. You will need to spray the solution on then work from a high grit sandpaper to a even higher grit sand paper to remove the scratches. Then lastly use a clarifying compound to remove the haze and make the paint pop in clarity. I use turtle wax on my Arrma Limitless body and it worked well to get rid of scratches and make it look new.
This is the one I use. Start with pad number 2 and spray on the solution buff the body until it’s smooth. Then move onto pad number 3 keeping the body wet with the solution the entire time of buffing out the scratches. Then lastly use the white wax compound to make the paint look new.
Nice! Thanks for your reply. I have a friend who's a car guy and he says he'll take a look at it to see what can be done. If I choose to not go to a repair shop, I'd be more comfortable having my friend around since he'd probably know more than I do. Do you have a link to your scratch repair kit?
