Why is there a difference in disc count? I see a listing on Amazon with 10 discs, and if it’s the case, I would much rather buy the nice Entire Mystery collection 😁. ( What I found: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KDRV83S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_jey7FbAERFXJ6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 )
Yeah it is steep. The next best box set would be Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery but it was out before Twin Peaks: The Return so it’s not the entire mystery. But you could get Twin Peaks: The Return separately to supplement it. There’s also the Television Collection with all 3 seasons but there’s no Fire Walk With Me movie or Missing Pieces featurette.

It depends on what you're looking for. The gold box set is great, but if you're looking for a blu ray set then I would recommend the two that I have. The Entire Mystery Blu-ray Box Set and Twin Peaks: The Return (A Limited Event Series) Blu-ray Box Set
You can watch every second the series and film with those two box sets and the quality of them is very great. I'm aware there is this set where you can just have the whole TV collection in one, but I'm not a big fan of the packaging. I think it's cheap.. and the first link I put up there^ includes fire walk with me and the missing pieces so as long as you get the two sets that I have then you're rockin'
