They're nice if you want to leave anything in the bed. Kinda turns into a quasi-trunk. I bought a cheapo off amazon for like $200 while I was looking at the more expensive ($1500) roll up aluminum ones. Liked the cheapo so well that I never bothered to upgrade. The aluminum ones are great if you need the security, and they look nicer, but they are a pain to install just right and harder to take off if you want full access to the bed.
Definitely go Line-X Premium for the bed liner. I had a drop in bed liner and switched to Line-X and it's so much better.
I have a Tyger soft folding tonneau cover and it's good looking, inexpensive and reliable. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019NUGLGE/ Looking at a Bakflip G2 hard folding tonneau to replace it this summer. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07213JFN8/
I have a Tyger soft tri-fold from Amazon, cheap but damn that cover is tough. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019NUGLGE
