Interesting. That looks like a little bit more clean than what I had originally planned on using (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07VJK7KML?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details) and I even have a vague amount of experience using a saddle valve when I installed the humidifier to my hot water line (although this would obviously not be a self tapping as was the case on the humidifier line).

I'm definitely liking that it is designed for the 1/4" tubing supplied with my dehumidifier.
