It's a very old BikeGuard u-lock that has a 90-degree mount on the seat post, the lock sits on the left side of the seat post. I checked and the company doesn't make anymore BUT I found a similar lock and mount on amazon.
If it's in a place with a camera you can bike lock it to something. Most people won't risk that say at a public outside bike rack, because they are so expensive and obviously someone can just cut the lock and steal it, but if it's inside company property and monitored by cameras I personally wouldn't have a problem with leaving mine locked up.
I own a V11 and unless im missing something obvious I could absolutely fit a thick metal bar U lock through the handle, maybe something like this?
Quick googling says 16mm is too big to be cut by normal bolt cutters.
