Not OP, but it's obviously a mod. One can get a U.FL to RP-SMA pigtail then find a way to mount it to the chassis. Usually that means looking for an area with enough free space to fit the RP-SMA connector, and in many cases it's the Kensington security slot that's sacrificed.
My guess, from my personal experience is that you have an antenna problem. Check your connections and be certain the connector on the miner has not been twisted. I wound up replacing the internal connector ( 2 for $5.99 on Amazon) and it was solved.

If you just installed a new antenna you might’ve broken the pigtail in your miner. It’s an easy fix though. Buy this UFL to SMA Mini PCI U.FL to RP-SMA Female Ipex Connector Pigtail WiFi Antenna Extension Cable (6 inch (2 Pcs)) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T85B3LN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_5JY9V2MCFQH7YETS991J?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It should fix the problem.

These ?
So my issue with the reduced witnessing had to do with the pig tail connection on the back. Though this unit was new, I could tell that I could not screw on the antenna as much/as far as on my second FreedomFi unit. There appeared to be a machining issue on the connector threads. Replaced the connection with a link to a amazon replacement that FreedomFi support shared (odd that FreedomFi didn't replace it since this was a new unit, but it was an inexpensive part and probably faster getting it from Amazon anyways and get back to better mining). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T85B3LN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Ditch the old connector and replace it with this one:

You'll be able to secure it to the plastic housing.

From Amazon Canada
haven't been inside this model, but they're usually RPSMA to IPEX pigtails: https://www.amazon.ca/RP-SMA-Connector-Pigtail-Antenna-Extension/dp/B07T85B3LN
hmm, I bought this on amazon. Should I just replace it?
I bought this adapter and this antenna which connects to the backside of the control board. I then ran the Antenna to the outside of the hopper. Someone here posted a kit you could buy that had those items but I had issues ordering it due to it going out of stock.
My WiFi connectivity went from sparse, if at all, to instantaneous without any connection drops.
Currently when really toying with the unit I can latch onto B41 and B12 signals that give me good speed.
I was going to buy a waveform antenna, but they could not deliver it fast enough. I am working on internet for my parents and just planned a trip out their way this weekend. So I must settle with Amazon purchases.
I found a 4g antenna, similar to the panel waveform sells. Will work with my frequencies.
Then for the N adapter I added two different ones to my order in case one was garbage. Now you mentioned hard to find, so I’m nervous. These the right kind?
These work or are they wrong? (I can cancel them still if need be). Any others I should look at and get ordered today so I have them in time?
