Why would I do a bunch of work for you? You're here commenting on something you apparently know nothing about. So it seems that you don't really care. If you did, you'd make an effort to inform yourself.
Perhaps you should just go back to whatever it is you actually care about and wait for the US government to set up some kind of press panel, or however you think it'll become okay to believe in UFOs.
If you're actually interested, I recommend Leslie Kean's book: https://www.amazon.com/UFOs-Generals-Pilots-Government-Officials/dp/B004648Q2K/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=3QZ2BYO014KZE&keywords=leslie+kean+ufo&qid=1662930975&sprefix=leslie+kean%2Caps%2C398&sr=8-1
The Phenomenon is also a good documentary on the subject.
You should read Leslie Kean's book, if you haven't. It lists a ton of generals and govt. officials from other countries' experiences with UFO/UAP. It's pretty eye-opening.
ps. every once in awhile, I wonder if some of these posts aren't explicitly designed to drive book sales, lol.
> If we were truly being visited by aliens, why are a) no commercial or private pilots seeing them
They are. Problem is if you report to your boss "I saw a UFO" you're instantly a lunatic and your job is at risk.
> b) no foreign military has been reporting this.
They have, just not very often. If you're interested in the topic I highly recommend Leslie Kean's book "UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials go on the record". As far as I'm concerned it's the only book on UFOs that has any serious merit, and even if it's entirely false it makes for some pretty interesting fiction. I haven't read it in a while, but from what I remember Kean cites Brazil, France, Britain, Peru, and Iran as countries who have at one point or another said they don't know what the fuck is going on.
EDIT: Sorry I didn't mean to imply we're being visited by aliens, just that the UFO phenomena is being taken seriously behind closed doors.
Hah, I mistook your response as sarcasm, my bad. Please forgive me.
When the NY Times put UFOs on the front page, I paid attention. I've always been into Sci-Fi and as a young pre-teen in the early 90s I'd watch Unsolved Mysteries and that kind of junk. Being into actual science it never went further than that, so the problem is none of this stuff is new and when they say "tic-tacs" and describe the UFOs they're describing, I went to Defcon 2 in, "wait, what?"
All you need to do is Google the names that appear in these articles and it's not like they're 2-3 degrees of separated, there's literal 0 degrees of separation between absolute lunacy and what we're being shown.
It's all in plain sight, reported in main stream news outlets even. You can hear George Knapp on NPR explaining how it's all poltergeist related and "maybe it is all demons after all." Oh and by the way, while we're giving George Knapp the microphone, let's not forget he's famous for, still believes and promotes, Bob Lazar the guy who worked on actual physical UFOs for the government, according to the story. Bob drops in that interview that the UFOs came from an "archeological dig."
Or how about the NYTimes journalists themselves? Of course I wanted to know more so I Googled Leslie Keane who has two books out. One about UFOs, the other, about life after death. It's hard to follow but apparently while researching UFOs she had an experience that made her go into this other direction.
Here's Lois Elizondo, the "leaker" of the videos we've been seeing talking about UFOs at the Vatican and that UFOs are "from right here" and have been here for a very long time.
Who knows what's real and what isn't, there's just a lot of crazy crap at the center of all this stuff that I feel like no one is paying attention to.
A few of the books by J. Allen Hynek are worth reading; very detail-rich and probably the closest one is going to get, as far as evidence is concerned, to this very subjective/sociological phenomenon. There's also a book by Leslie Kean called "UFOS" that features a lot of testimonies by high level military officials, seasoned pilots, etc. etc.
