Can anyone help me find a USB to USB-C cable with a 90-degree plug on the USB-C side, but NOT bent in the direction like this one is. I'm not sure how to describe it other than "bent in the other direction".
Ideally, I'd like it to be a braided, fast charger, but beggars can't be choosers. At the very worst, a USB-C to USB-C adapter works as well.

This ought to do:
UGREEN USB C Cable 90 Degree Type C Cable 18W Fast Charging USB A to USB C Cable Right Angle Compatible with iPad Mini 6Galaxy S21 S20 Note20 S21 Z Flip 3 Z Fold Pixel PS5 GoPro Hero 8 Switch 1.5ft
Depends on your powerbank. Most you will need a USB-A to USB-C cable.
I use this one (1.5ft)
Sure! It's the perfect length to not have any slack hanging down to annoy your ears or neck and just enough to let the strap out at full extension for putting on and off (which is where it's at in the picture). Below is the cable I have, I haven't found any others with two right-angle ends and at this same length but thankfully it supports 3A output so it charges while playing without issues.

A power bank for increased play time. Saved my butt from leaving a fun session of VRchat last night.
Last night I used a 20,000mah in my pocket with a 6ft cable, however, I have the following two items coming this week to experiment with.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFHB3R4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm hoping the pass-thru charging in this power bank works. It will be strapped the rear of my headstrap using velcro straps.
I currently have 7oz back there (an old SD1000 camera and wheel weights inside a sock :P ), and it helps take the pressure off your face by balancing the headset via the top-strap. This allows you to use less pressure on the headband portion of the strap.
Looks good, thanks for sharing this. I do something pretty similar (an currently have a similar Corona haircut, lol!) but I have not found the top wide strap you added does much for me. Also, I like to lower the back headstrap a little lower and have the sides lower down, closer to my ears. All personal preference and depends on the shape of your head (mine seems pretty similar). Your headshot photo looks like it is mirror image because your headset charging socket looks to be on the right side, instead of the left.
I use a similar 10000mahr battery pack (but mine has usb-a output socket, usb-c charging socket). I don't add any velcro to it, or my headstrap. I just use 2x those ~3/4" straps (soft side out) and cinch both around the headstrap/pack, about 1" away from each other. When I put the headstrap on it cinches them even tighter and I have never had them come loose.
I also use this 1.5ft battery cable form Amazon. I like it because it does not require any adapters and has right-angled connectors. It also has a built-in 56KΩ resistor which helps ensure you get more reliable charging and protecting your device from damage due to over-current. Works great for me.

I use this right angle cable for this very reason. Works well!

I use this one with my battery bank, and that's pretty much it. With my quality Anker battery bank and this cable, I've never had it drop low enough for me to need to actually stop and charge it. It does the job well enough.
I don't know much about batteries, but it seems like it ought to be fine. Yes, just run a cable from the battery's output to the headset's charging port. If you plan to strap the battery to the back of the headset, you might want to get a very short cable with a bent-type C connector for the headset, so the cable stands out less and is less likely to get in the way or be damaged when you bump into things. (Like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFHB3R4/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1[https://amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFHB3R4/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFHB3... )
But you could just use the regular charging cord, and put the battery in your pocket or in a pouch around your neck or something. You will just have to be careful not to get tangled up in the cable while playing.

> I’ve been having this issue with my PC recently - I have a 9700k and 2080 Ti. Games run great then a crash happens or I update my nvidia drivers and allot my games become slow like a slideshow like 20fps (games such as Cyberpunk and No Mans Sky). The only thing that fixes it is doing a clean install of my GPU drivers. Then it fixes it and all goes back to normal in all games. Then at some point again, not long after- perhaps a reboot, a game crash, or even a couple times alt tabbing out of No Mans Sky and back in it make the FPS tank even when in full screen - and that alt tabbing caused the issue to start again in all games. Until I do a driver clean install for my GPU. It seems like some change is happening to the drivers/software but I can’t figure it out. > > I have tried DDU uninstalling and clean installing Nvidia drivers. I have updated my bios.

> It seems as though my IO ports aren't delivering the power they should. When I plug my phone into the usb c port it says fast charging for a few seconds then reverts to charging and the charging time is way longer than when plugged into a wall. It also doesn't seem to be charging my headphones through the usb 3 ports or my controllers through either even though they all seem to connect just fine they wont charge. Any help would be appreciated. Mobo is an ASUS z590a.

> Question about keyboards. I have Logitech MX keys, it's great for work and I find it pretty comfortable for the most part. But now that ive been able to upgrade to something capable of gaming I've been thinking if I need to also get a keyboard for gaming. I've seen on sites like rtings that it has a high latency and wanted to know it that is truly not great for gaming at all? I'm not into fast reaction multiplayer games, mainly story based single player games. So is it really necessary to upgrade to a dedicated gaming keyboard?

> I have had a long ethernet cable for about 9 months now, and I've noticed a pattern of when my room gets quite hot, the metal in it expands and therefore, for a brief period while I open my window I get disconnected from a game etc. If anyone knows any good brands of ethernet cables which wont do this, I think mine was quite cheap, then I'd love to take links as I can't be asked with all of this disconnecting bs ngl lol. Thanks

Get this in 1.5ft

though I personally use and love this one - its been out of stock
https://www.etsy.com/listing/795717633/oculus-quest-das-anker-powercore-13000
I bought it from this guy.
And this is the wire I used to connect it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PFHB3R4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_DW4KRQE3JJSEC93ZZSPT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Buy right angle USB cables like this: https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Charger-Compatible-Samsung-Nintendo/dp/B07PFHB3R4
I do it too and these make it so I can rest my phone on the cable end in bed without eventually screwing up the cable.
If you have a good router/wifi setup then the Quest (1 or 2) then wireless w/Virtual Desktop is better than wired w/Link, even with the official link cable imho. Google and have a look at the Virtual Desktop discord channel for detailed requirements and tips. Even though I have the official link cable I no longer use it.
For extended play with my Q1 wireless I just velcro strap on a 20000mahr external battery pack on the back of the head strap and use a short charge lead from it to the headset. You can play +6 hours with this and the extra weight of the battery helps balance the headset better, taking a lot of weight off your face. This is the cable I use;

You could probably get away with a smaller 10000mahr battery pack. Any decent brand from Amazon will do.
/u/deerareouttogetus posted this 3d printable dock for the egolf
They posted the model and my buddy printed it on an Ender 3 Pro in PLA. I mounted this right angle usb cable.
It. Works. Great.
I get in the car, slide my phone into the dock, feel a nice and positive 'click' and I'm on my way.
The door closes with the phone in the dock.
Hey! I use this Ugreen right angle cable and it works perfectly for me.
The charging cable that comes with the Quest 2 is USB-C to USB-C and the Anker outputs with USB-A and gets input through Micro USB so the Quest 2 charging cable won't work unfortunately (unless there's a new USB-C Anker 1300 I'm not aware of)
I also just modified some designs to make a version of this battery mount to fit the Anker 13000 that you can 3D print. It makes mounting a lot cleaner and more comfortable. I'm gonna upload it as a remix soon if you're interested!
So I decided to give this one a try. I have a little bit of a bigger head so to put the Frankenquest on I have been fully extending it out , sliding it over my head , then tightening it. This one is similiar to yours but its 1.5ft . Ill drop the link below in case the one you have end's up being short. Thank you again and good luck ! Let me know how it goes when its all done ! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFHB3R4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AKXVBT49GGF3B&psc=1
I've read a minimum of 2.4 amps. Here is the cable I'm using and it seems to be working fine:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFHB3R4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Have you tried one of these? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PFHB3R4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_1TxIFbEW3XTFE
Get yourself a shorter cable, this one has worked perfectly for me.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFHB3R4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here's exactly what you need (been there, bought & tried other cables until I found this one).
USB C / USB A, has 90-degree angles on both which allow you to keep the cable more flush to the headset, supports 3A of charging (more than needed), and is the perfect length (1.5 feet). Side note, 1-ft is too short IMO; while it's possible to make it work, it can be really tight and put pressure on the ports.
