Personally, I wear boots for the added ankle support and don't really think about toe protection much, but I'm not frequently moving cases and heavy things so not top priority. That being said I wear the Under Armour side zip boots and the Nike Downshifter 7s. Both are super comfy and the boots breath very well while offering more protection than my nikes.
