It's definitely a USB 2.0 connector, with a similar end to this cable. I am trying to direct the USB from my case and my CPU liquid cooler through the Commander as I only have one USB 2.0 header on my board (which the Commander is currently plugged into). USB extenders/cables were not included in the packaging for the Commander.
If it helps clear anything up, I have an Aorus B360 motherboard.
Edit: it is 9; I can't count apparently. All the same, there are 2 pins that are not slotted when I plug my USB female ends into the Commander. Either the ports are DOA or something is wrong here.
Internal usb 2.0 header
heres the cord to connect directly to the motherboard
or here is one with a normal usb connector to make that external
I found this one on Amazon, but it has the wrong pins blocked. I need an open connector and wiring diagram.
Amazon has one for $9.
Something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MQR5BL8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_blVjFb5R0RCK7
There's several varieties on amazon.
Actually. I think you need a USB Header Cable or This one since it's apparently software based via "Aquasuite" those fan headers are actually for radiator fans and not controlling pump speed. However the Phobya one should be fine using my original method. (I use that method on my Swiftech MCP50X)
