Just purchased this USB C to DisplayPort, Maxonar 8K 60Hz Type-C to DP Cable 6.6FT/2M(4K 60Hz 144Hz 120Hz 2K 240Hz) VESA Certified 32.4Gbps 1.4 HBR3 Alt Mode Video Adapter for M1 MacBook Pro Mac Mini, XPS 15 and More https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_AE2EP6QGAGBCH1NWX1XV
works fine, my aoc 1440p 27" has g-sync compatibility enabled (144hz)
I'm going to try another cable, although the cable I bought on Amazon has very good reviews and is certified by vesa, even many users use it for games, it's very strange because display port 1.2 can easily support 1440p @144hz but it only allows me 120hz.... this is the cable: https://www.amazon.com/USB-DisplayPort-Maxonar-certificado-Adaptador/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=2Z86PF9JDVZQ1&keywords=Cable+c+USB+3.1+Type+C+USB-C+to+DisplayPort+laptop+gaming&qid=1667847291&sprefix=cable+c+usb+3.1+type+c+usb-c...
From the monitor's product page: "Graphics card that supports HDMI 2.1 required for 120Hz VRR"
From Apple's website: "HDMI display video output - Support for one display with up to 4K resolution at 60Hz"
You won't be able to do 4k120 over HDMI with the port on the Mac Mini. It is possible that you'd be able to get 4k120 with a Thunderbolt (USB-C) to DisplayPort cable, but the results are hit-or-miss. Here is a link to the cable I'd try.
You may also need to use SwitchResX to see more display output resolutions/refresh rates.
I tried using the HDMI that came w/ it but the picture was all "green"-ish, like tinted green.
I'll give the DP cable it came with a try, just need to buy a dongle lol
I am currently using this cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
What cable do you have if you don't mind me asking?
This cable should do it. It is DP1.4 to USB-C with a support of Thunderbolt 4...the most important piece is the HBR3 which is the speed you need...
Forget what anyone else says, you need to get a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter (I got this one from Amazon), and plug it into the left side USB-C port (the one next to the power plug).
This port connects directly to the RTX 3060 GPU, giving you the best graphics performance. You should get a few extra FPS compared to connecting to an HDMI cable or even on the laptop's screen.
I have the LG 38WN95C-W
MacBook Pro M1 (Work) and M1 Pro (Personal) connected via TB3 cable. Mac Mini (Intel 2018) via DisplayPort.
Here’s the product purchased:
Also have their TB4 cable. No issues. Much better than what LG provided.
The flickering is on 144Hz on my brand new Mac Studio so I assume it has the full bandwidth. I am using this cable I got from Amazon but will be replacing it with one from Cable Matters to see if that changes anything

Thank you so much! I did post my directx diagnostics in the comments on their own thread and in responses ...should have edited into the post tho bc you're not the first to ask about them. I did purchase a 20$ c to DP cable from Amazon
USB C to DisplayPort VESA Certified, Maxonar 8K 60Hz Type-C to DP Cable 6.6FT/2M(4K 60Hz 144Hz 120Hz 2K 240Hz) 32.4Gbps 1.4 HBR3 Alt Mode Adapter for 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Mac Mini, XPS 15 Grey https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_G978WPPXYHR1HD92K6PN?psc=1
I'm expecting to either get 85 hz or 120 hz at native 4k but who knows
Is that a solid cable?
I do have one!!!! AND I THOUGHT IT DID THIS but it doesn’t! i have a dell S3221QS monitor and https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_Y33H1NE1FHZJKC7E1DHZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 <- this display port.
maybe there’s another cord that supports charging?
Try bypassing the dock. My M1 Mac Mini on Monterey displays 3440x1440 @ 144Hz (some flickering and colors aren't as good on 165Hz) fine with a certified USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable:
USB C to DisplayPort VESA Certified, Maxonar 8K 60Hz Type-C to DP Cable 6.6FT/2M(4K 60Hz 144Hz 120Hz 2K 240Hz) 32.4Gbps 1.4 HBR3 Alt Mode Adapter for 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Mac Mini, XPS 15 Grey https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_dl_E7183WZNDSAGRXWWD6XR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have a Legion 7i (i9) and am using a Asus ROG monitor with a Maxonar USB-C to DP 1.4 cable and it (mostly) works. plugged into the port on the back of the laptop.
Sometimes the image cuts out and the screen goes black for a second before coming back. usually happens 1-2 times right when i start playing a game, if it happens at all. doesn't happen when coding or web browsing.
not worried at all. Any M1 should be able to drive the G9 (mines not even a M1 and I used HDMI at first as well) but if you are looking to maximize your refresh rate and resolution then DP is the way to go. here is the one that I use:
That one, or I found this one too.

I may not be the best person to ask. I’m not an expert and I rarely use it.
Other than that I like it and think it’s good Bang for the buck. Not sure how much better an IPS panel would have been but it would certainly have been much more expensive. For my use case, which is simple office tasks and a bit of coding, I think it’s great value.
One thing to note: I had to buy an 8K 60hz DP-to-USB-C cable. Not expensive but good to know. When I used a normal HDMI cable through a USB-C hub, the anti-aliasing of fonts would look not smooth sometimes. At least on a MacBook Air.
This is one is supposed to be good:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I’m living in Asia and couldn’t get that one here but found some China products on Lazada which also worked
I like it! This seems like the solution I need at a decent price. I will post an update after I connect the system.
Quick question though, if I had a tb4 dock with 2 downstream tb4 I could still use tb2 to tb3 solution for Mac, and display to two monitors with: USB C to DisplayPort, Maxonar 8K 60Hz Type-C to DP Cable 6.6FT/2M(4K 60Hz 144Hz 120Hz 2K 240Hz) VESA Certified 32.4Gbps 1.4 HBR3 Alt Mode Video Adapter for M1 MacBook Pro Mac Mini, XPS 15 and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_1V0WMW10XJ0EW1DY0DPZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Because as far as I understand tb4 can take tb3 upstream and reduce to tb3 downstream as needed for dp1.4
I'm able to go over 60Hz via HDMI on my P15 gen1, but you have to make sure you are using an HDMI 1.4 cable and you may have to set your monitor to also support HDMI 1.4. I prefer to use a USB C to Display Port like this one. USB C to DisplayPort, Maxonar 8K 60Hz Type-C to DP Cable 6.6FT/2M(4K 60Hz 144Hz 120Hz 2K 240Hz) VESA Certified 32.4Gbps 1.4 HBR3 Alt Mode Video Adapter for M1 MacBook Pro Mac Mini, XPS 15 and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_CV5GXGXB9TB3HPNJ2736?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
So I got a usb c to display port cable and now get 75Hz which is still not 144Hz… the cable is rated correctly too. USB C to DisplayPort, Maxonar 8K 60Hz Type-C to DP Cable 6.6FT/2M(4K 60Hz 144Hz 120Hz 2K 240Hz) VESA Certified 32.4Gbps 1.4 HBR3 Alt Mode Video Adapter for M1 MacBook Pro Mac Mini, XPS 15 and More https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_AMEA977M29VY4QJA4JHD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Well I bought this cable but it’s not giving me a good connection at all. When I first turn on the monitor I get black lines across the bottom of the screen. And anytime I try to play a game my screen freezes and crashes me out. Then I unplug and play on my laptop screen fine.
So I’m not sure if I just got a lemon cable, or it’s a crappy manufacturer or what. That’s why I’m trying to learn what other people have found success with.
USB C to DisplayPort, Maxonar 8K 60Hz Type-C to DP Cable 6.6FT/2M(4K 60Hz 144Hz 120Hz 2K 240Hz) VESA Certified 32.4Gbps 1.4 HBR3 Alt Mode Video Adapter for M1 MacBook Pro Mac Mini, XPS 15 and More https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_3BAXE03K4S65K7DEN11R?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yes it should work fine, you just need the right cable. I have the m1 Air hooked up to a 34” 3440 x 1440 ultrawide via a usb c to DisplayPort 1.4 cable and it runs at 60Hz in full resolution.
Edit: this is the cable I’m using https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Have you tried using a regular usb c dp cable? The usb c port supports DP alt mode, allowing a full dp 1.4 signal through the connector, maybe it is a bottleneck on your adapter, so something like this would do a direct dp signal. Not sure, just a guess.
[SOLVED]
Yes you can. I got this Thunderbolt 3 to DP 1.4 8K cable from Amazon, and it works like a charm.
Just make sure to check your laptop's USB-C ports are Thunderbolt 3 compatible.
So my new cable just got here (link for reference). I am successfully able to get 4k 144hz with a 30-bit framebuffer depth (10-bit color) output from my MacBook Pro (as reported by System Information under Graphics/Displays). When in the Display section in System Preferences, the trick is to hold the "option" key when clicking on the "Scaled" option under Resolution. Then you have to check the "Show low resolution modes" option. Finally, you get a Refresh Rate drop down, and you can select 144 Hertz. This is a bit of a convoluted way for macOS to allow you to utilize the full potential of your display, but it works nevertheless.
It probably would have worked on my previous adapter as well now that I think about it. I didn't try holding down the "option" key when I had that adapter. This setting makes my MacBook Pro fans constantly spin even while Activity Monitor does not show any significant use of system resources. Just running the OS at such a high resolution and refresh rate must be quite taxing, even on such a new machine. Maybe the newer M1 machines would probably hold up better. That being said, macOS feels absolutely fantastic at 4k 144hz, and the wide color gamut looks great with a fully color managed OS.

Use the TB port, not the HDMI 2.0 port on the Mac mini if you want to run at 4K/120hz
You just need a USB C to DP 1.4 cable. They do exist: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_J0ATRZG08W2B4W92N93Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
USB C to DisplayPort Cable 8K... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have been using this with a 1440p 165Hz monitor for a year with no issues.
I'm missing something.
If you have a very high refresh dp 1.4 monitor, your best bet would likely be to try a dp 1.4 USB cable, something like: https://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-Maxonar-Certified-32-4Gbps-Adapter/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=usb+c+displayport+1.4&qid=1610385582&sr=8-3
I don't own the cable I linked, it's simply representative of what I would try if I wanted to drive very high frame rate to a high res monitor.
I'm using a Philips 499P9H (also Ultrawide; 5120x1440 resolution) with a M1 Mac mini.
My Mac mini M1 wouldn’t work via HDMI or USB-C (both connection worked fine on my work machine Windows Notebook with Intel Onboard Graphics - so the cables are capable to display this resolution).
I had to order an USB-C to Displayport Cable, and with this, no problems at all.
I’m now using this cable: https://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-Maxonar-Certified-32-4Gbps-Adapter/dp/B08B3XNZGS
Just ordered this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/
Will report back after trying that cable directly. Thanks
It’s this.
OK, so mine arrived. It works, but with caveats.
3090 in my PC, 2022 M1 Mac.
Mac was picky about which USB-C to DisplayPort adapter I used. This works but this does not. I don't know why. They are both "8K" rated and worked fine on my 4K displays at 60hz.
The cables from the switch to the computers they provide don't work. I bought these instead, and they work.
Using the Samsung provided cable from the monitor to the switch.
Most annoying thing is that the PC forgets the monitor geometry and so when you switch back, it is at 1024x768.
Replugging from the 3090 fixes it but that's not a great solution. I'm kinda bummed. Sigh.
Maybe an EDID emulator of some kind? I have yet to find one.
I have several of these I've used at our office and they all work great.

The OWC docks might, they can do 2 [email protected] or an [email protected] so I think that might be enough bandwidth, and then like a USB C to DisplayPort wire.
This is working great for me. Running 4K 120hz tho.

Laptop: 2018 MBP w/ i7 and Radeon 555X Pro GPU
Monitor: LG 34GN850-B, 3440 x 1440, 160 Hz
I’ve been dealing with this issue for over a year now. I’ve tried 3 different cables – two being USB-C to HDMI with an IC, and one USB-C to DP. Here are links to their Amazon listings:
Both HDMI cables would cause what you see in the video, but it would go away if I were to re-plug the cable about 5 times. I'd prefer not to use HDMI since I would be locked at 60 Hz. The DP cable simply does not work at all. I have tried every settings configuration – resolution, colours, refresh rate, etc.
I’ve seen other Redditors using the exact same hardware as me (MBP, same cable, same monitor). This should theoretically work fine.
Do I have a bad GPU? Is there some way to find out if my GPU is underperforming?
I can have it activated..

I'm using a DP 1.4 to USB-C cable.. This one specifically, 6.6 ft https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS

I'd read (no idea if this is true, I'm really not very familiar with hardware or peripherals in general) that the ports on the left of the MBP were better so I tried both to no discernible difference.
This one I believe. I thought he just meant what kind of cable I was using, that’s my fault.

This is the cable I'm using.

I need help!
Unfortunately most (if not all) monitors only have one display port.
I found this frustrating too when switching between pc and mac on one monitor with high resolution/refresh rate.
The issue is of course is the Mac, as they haven't updated their code to implement TB to HDMI 2.1 yet, which is completely a software issue on Mac side. PC's seem to have no problem.
The only option is to buy a display port switcher or KVM that can handle that bandwidth. So both PC and Mac plug into switch and then one cable to monitor.
I personally don't use adapters. Buy a high quality TB to display port 1.4 cable that is known to work. Such as Maxanor https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS

Here is a post form JaxDown that explains his solution. Also there are other switches from aliexpress that work too besides the one he links.

Hey there, it seems I finally found a set up that seems to work correctly so far. I can confirm that it works with the full 240hz, HDR, and G-sync with my PC. While on the M1 Max MacBook pro it works at 120hz, HDR, and what was surprising to me it also supports apple's adaptive frame rate as well. The only trick you need is you have to change the G9 to 120hz with the OSD to be able to get full support on the mac (you only get 60hz if you leave it on 240hz mode). Then you have to change it back on the pc. Also sometimes you need to restart the monitor when switching to the pc, since windows defaults to a strange resolution when it gets the monitor back, but switching to the mac has been pretty much flawless. Also I have my main keyboard and mouse plugged into the switch and they switch back and forth flawlessly with no latency increase I can detect. While I haven't tired it yet but I assume you could use the third USB switch for a USB headset. You also get full USB A 3.0 speed through the switch then through the thunderbolt adaptor. If you have any questions let me know! I'm happy that I finally found something that actually works after fighting with this thing for weeks.
The Setup:
From MacBook Pro to switch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS
The only switch I tried that was able to fully support the G9 without drop-outs: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B098TVP9ZL
From the switch to the G9: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HL336L2
From the PC to switch: Used included DP 1.4 from the G9
From switch USB and ethernet to Macbook Pro: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0871ZL9TG
Did you ever find a cable that works for you consistently? I'm running into this issue as well.

I think it might be over! (god I hope)
going to add some detail because I read so many Reddit threads and didn't find the answer, perhaps it will help someone else.
I'm using this monitor: DarkMatter 49" DQHD Monitor - Monoprice
I updated intel drivers, even trying the beta driver, I tried the registry mods from dancharblog, I even tried reversing the surface connector (the plug from the dock to the book3) because someone said that they found that to make a difference... I tried entering custom resolutions within the intel driver software but they wouldn't take, I tried updating the dock firmware and resetting it several times. I tried the WMI Instance Provider because it says it is for Book2 onwards, and I tried the SEMM driver because it is listed for Book3 specifically. I tried each of them independently and together.
Well, it worked instantly... as a last-ditch before I light the whole thing on fire.MI2.0 cable with the surface HDMI-USBC adapter) worked fine when plugged directly into the SB3. That implied that the dock was somehow not communicating the available modes properly from the monitor. I know every time someone has this problem the first advice is to try a different cable, I thought that I had exhausted the possibility of the cable being inadequate, but ordered a USB-C to Display port 1.4 cable DP1.4 to USB-C Cable as a last ditch before I light the whole thing on fire.
Well, it worked instantly... and it was $32 cheaper than the HDMI adapter from Microsoft alone.....
Use a cable with dp alt mode.
This is the one I use for my 144hz monitor:
Not sure if relevant in your case but I also found things to get a lot more stable when I upgraded to an 8k USBC -> DisplayPort 1.4 cable. The previous cable was not 1.4 and the G9 would constantly "freeze" for lack of a better word and I would have to unplug and replug the power cable. Nothing else would get it to come out of sleep.
That all went away when I got a new cable.
I'm using this one currently: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS/
This is the only one that would work for me, I get 4k 144hz perfectly
So I saw this adapter that gets 240hz which is what my monitor is! Do you think this is a good quality one that will support my laptop for higher hz?
Hey man! Does this adapter work you believe? I just saw it on Amazon!
I purchased the following and it seems to be working just fine…
USB C to DisplayPort, Maxonar 8K... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
After trying a 2nd gen Surface Dock but still getting the same results, I was finally able to find a solution by using a high-quality USB-C to Displayport cable (link below). The new cable connects my Surface Pro directly to the G9 and I connect to the second G9 DP port from my gaming computer. Both computers can connect with 5120x1440 at 120Hz and the PBP also works well.

According to Requirements:
Minimum: Additional Notes: Available DisplayPort (Version1.2) and USB (2.0+) Port required
Recommended: Additional Notes: Available USB (3.0+) Port required for Headset Pass-Through Camera
1 x DisplayPort 1.2+ for headset display
1 x USB 3.0+ for headset cameras
I would suggest trying out other cables, like this one.
I got this, and it works. not getting the 240 but it is around 140 - 170fps, so yeah I am good with that.
We bought the M1 Mac Mini and a Dell Ultrawide 49" curved monitor. We were having to boot up with the HDMI connected to the monitor then switch to the USB-C to get the full resolution. That was a pain, but we read Apple was working on a fix. Then the USB-C connection quit working entirely. Apple didn't have a solution. We were ready to buy a Dell computer, though we love Apple and have tons of Apple products. Then I found a Reddit post that recommended a USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable and BAM, it worked!!! I actually just signed into Reddit to try to find the guy who made that post to thank him. Here's the link to buy it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
thanks for the response. I am using this Maxonar USB-C to Display cable from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
USB C to DisplayPort, Maxonar 8K 60Hz Type-C to DP Cable 6.6FT/2M (4K 60Hz 144Hz 120Hz 2K 240Hz) VESA Certified 32.4Gbps 1.4 HBR3 Alt Mode Video Adapt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_CdtoabXzY5ymq
Check your DP cable; safest to go overkill with high-bandwidth DP1.4 such as:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_hUP5Fb6DCBR6E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Cable quality matters because HDR = higher bandwidth
I just received my panel today and installed everything. From what I can gather, there don't appear to be any issues with the hardware (no signs of dead pixels or leakage). However, I'm struggling a bit. Can you help clarify a few things for me?
My Setup
Results
I have a few issues. The main one is that, regardless of which cable I try, I cannot get it beyond 60hz. I've changed the monitor's setting to be DisplayPort 1.4 instead of 1.4 (DSC), but no help. I've done the 'option'+ 'scaled' and selected 'low resolution, but the checkbox doesn't allow me to select any other refresh rate than '60hz'. Is the issue the cable, or the MacBook Pro? Note I tried the same thing with a MacBook Air 2018 and got the same results, but HDR wont work on that. I'm waiting for my M1 Mac Mini to arrive in a few weeks, so hopefully that will work...
One last question: If I force the resolution to be the native resolution, then the Mac UI looks really small. It's usable, but just tiny and hard to read. What settings do you use?
First I tried this never worked with any device on the G7 but worked flawlessly with all devices on my other LG super ultra wide. I got an adapter for it and now works well.
Now I’m using this DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort, also works really well at 240hz

>If you have a Thunderbolt 3 to DP1.4 powered dock then you no longer need the USB-C to DP1.4 adapter.
Thanks a lot for your advice! Since I posted this I found the schematic for my laptop and the bad news is that only a DP 1.4 signal is routed through the Thunderbolt connector. That means the CX8 OLED TV I was looking at might not be the best fit. However, when I used a cheap USB C to HDMI adapter on a QHD monitor with HDMI it displayed a signal so perhaps I can do HDMI over Thunderbolt. Regardless the laptop says it is limited to HDMI 2.0b on the HDMI connector, but the mobile rtx2070 specs indicate it can do HDMI 2.1. I have no way to verify I can do HDMI2.1 through the Thunderbolt 3 connector without a lot of expensive purchases. The cables you linked might just do the trick. However, I found out the TV has a glossy screen and that is a deal killer for me.
I am now back figuring out which DP 1.4 monitor would work best for me. I am really stuck deciding whether a 144hz screen is really necessary for me. Do you happen to know if a passive cable like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS is capable of [email protected] or would I need an active cable like your first link? It seems all the 43" monitors don't have HDMI 2.1 so that would somewhat limit my options.
Does a table exist somewhere that shows you what resolutions and frequencies you can get from DP1.4 over Thunderbolt? Does it match DP1.4 exactly? This stuff is amazingly hard to search which is why I am asking experts in the thunderbolt forum.
As u/Ellyidol notes, you need DisplayPort 1.4 or higher. I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3XNZGS/ (USB-C to DisplayPort) for my Macbook Pro to Acer Nitro XZ342CK, which works well.
u/Insane_Vexxxum The cable that i'm using is:
While dragging there is no saturation difference. There is also no support of DSC for my Mac but should it able to stream [email protected] with 10Bit natively without DSC or not?
For what i reading the Macbook Pro 2018 15" (should) support DP 1.4.
I tested also lesser resolution at 120Hz and works fine.
About 8bpc, how is it possibile to set in Mac Os? I'm using SwitchResX and i don't understand how to set 8bpc or 10bpc. For sure i can't use the "standard" HDR flag of Mac cause that software bypass that and is not possibile to use it :(

Do you think is the cable or bandwidth limit of my Macbook? Is very strange this "half" bug of color.
I would use a usb-c to displayport 1.4 cable, since the laptop supports displayport 1.4.
Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C to DisplayPort.
Something like this
I just got the CRG9 49" 1440p and HDMI can't handle the 120hz.. The type c w/DP 1.4 should handle that if I get this right?
