It could be your pricing. Similar items are being sold on amazon and such for much lower prices. You may become a bigger brand and ask for even higher prices.
Imagining purchasing 2 bracelets from your site costs around $100, plus shipping? Your TOS cuts a 20% restocking fee.
A similar product can be purcahsed from amazon, Instagram, or any other web place. For between $10-20 a piece. Two of them will cost between $20-50 dollars. With free shipping, customers won't deal with a restocking fee of 20%.
I'm not criticizing your pricing, I don't really care about how much you are charging for what.
my questions are:
what are you offering to the customer that an amazon seller doesn't? Is the thing you are providing really worth double the pricing?
If your brand is that big and you think your products are worth this much money, don't you think the restocking fee you are asking is a bit too much?
also, when a customer shops via Amazon, they don't pay the return shipping either.
I think you have different things to worry about.
You may say that because my products are made in there, not in china. Locals make it, we donate money to people and such.
Here is the thing, your customer base doesn't seem like rich people. At least your website isn't designed that way.
People with a limited budget, don't really care about if it's made in there but not there if you are donating 1-2% to whomever.
Your pricing is double the market, with way more strict rules and higher fees, seems like you aren't providing anything special. The overall shopping experience I will get from you or a random amazon seller seems about the same.
