This one is £40 new on Prime - first one I received died in a month and got returned, second one has been used almost daily for over 3 years going strong. Quite good quality for the price imo.
An MMO mouse wouldn't hurt either. I personally have this one. Of course, it's more than half off now from when I got it, but it's a very, very good mouse. It's helped me a lot with my Warlock especially. My healer is a Mistweaver, and we don't have a ton of spells that we'll be using in, say, raiding. Just a handful of viable spells, such as Uplift and Renewing Mist. But it's still a very nice mouse to have. I highly recommend it.
It has side buttons, which I don't really use at all, but it has very high DPI, which I really like and it has a small button on top of the mouse next to the left click button that is very convenient to bind as m3 to move the map. I personally hate clicking the mouse wheel to move the map and this is just easier IMO. It's also very wide and I like that cuz I have big hands.
I'm using the wireless version of this.
I have this mouse.

It is a bit too small for me. Ergo, it might fit your hands better.
hey this is a large mouse with a comfortable grip. ive had it for around 4 and a half years.
its a pretty budget mouse compared to the razer one suggested below.
https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Precision-Programmable-Computer-Recommendation/dp/B00FNKMVUO
This is my mouse and has been for the past 7 years. I love this thing to death. Right handed mouse with 12 buttons on the thumb’s side. Great for macro’s, programming, games, you name it. Has up to 16400 DPI sensitivity, which is just stupid fast. When you install the drivers and whatnot, you can have up to 5 different settings for your mouse sensitivity which can easily be changed by pressing the button on the underside of the mouse. Also allows for minor adjustments to the sensitivity via the small buttons below the scroller. Which you can adjust how much they shift the sensitivity by programming the mouse in the GUI for it’s installation for each of the 5 settings you create. Has adjustable weights which you can remove or add the weights to; to get a comfortable heft from your mouse. Has a small button to the top left of the index finger button which can be programmed to do whatever (I keep mine set to a triple tap for CS:GO). The 12 buttons on the side are treated as 123|456|789|0+- but can be reprogrammed to do whatever you want them to do. Take for example copy/pasting. You can set 1 to the command ctrl+c and then set 4 to the command ctrl+v. Like I said, this is a great mouse for just about anything. Plus, it’s pretty cheap.
I’ve played with a Naga, I’ve played with a Viper, but neither have come close to the versatility and durability of my UTech Venus mouse.
had [this mouse] for almost a bit (nov 2020), so pretty good value so far. personally i need thumb rest AND my fave part is that its NOT glossy plastic.
it has a tactile spray on it but the middle part you see in the photos is that plastic. what it does is allow grip contact to the base knuckles on your palm. i'm really impressed i love this mouse. (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FNKMVUO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
So I recently switched from the g600 to another mouse. I tried a ton of different mice and then stubbled upon one on sale for 20$ I figured what the hell it was worth a shot. It ended up being one of the best mice I have ever used. The software is simple and straight to the point and it does not have the mouse left/right click but other than that it is amazing . Here is a link to it. Make fun of me all you want but this mouse is great.. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_Dbx9Fb28RNA76?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It is a low price knock-off, but I use this mouse and have had great performance. They last 1 1/2 years or so, which for the price is not bad at all.
Logitech g 604. Or G903 (extra buttons in the scroll wheel, both sides, and 2 bindable dpi buttons). There are some cheap options on Amazon but can't promise quality or speed . Here's an example https://www.amazon.com/Mouse-de-gaming-Venus-Negro/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=gaming+mouse&qid=1604825871&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExU0Y0VVNVRFBNR041JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNzEwNjM4...
I've really beaten up on Utechsmart Venus over the last 4 years. Mine is running for just under $40 on Amazon and it's well reviewed.

The software is pretty straight forward. You can copy keystroke sequences and tie them to one button. You can launch and minimize programs or change songs and active windows from a button. It's as simple or as complex as you want to get.
UtechSmart Venus Gaming Mouse RGB Wired, 16400 DPI High Precision Laser Programmable MMO Computer Gaming Mice [IGN's Recommendation] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8uajFbJND90C3
I've had that one for 6 years now and still loving it 👍🏼
I've switched from Razer Naga to this mouse and love it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ it's weighted, has 12 buttons, hasn't fallen to any of the issues I've had with the Naga, and doesn't come with bloatware that will reinstall when you plug in your old Naga to test something. Oh and it's half the price. This thing feels good and durable. I say that with some damn tiny hands.
What a ridiculous thing to say, it has 5000+ reviews at nearly 5 stars, and with insane markups from these overbought brands people are paying for these days it wouldn't surprise me if it's higher quality than what's in your arsenal ;) and I own 3 of them and none of them have broken in the past decade. Thousands of hours PvP'ing in, uhh A LOT of games, maybe even more than most of you combined :p. It’s been top seller on newegg and now amazon for like 7 years. You do whatever you want chiefs but it’s an amazing mouse with ZERO reported issues what so ever and I think it might bother you to think you may have spent too much on your mouse for how little functionality it offers, especially to say shallow shit like a $25 mouse isn't good enough, like come on now guys. The downvotes are just actually PURE salt, though lol.
Here it is, it seems to have went up $7 dollars since I last bought it, enjoy. https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Precision-Programmable-Computer-Recommendation/dp/B00FNKMVUO
Also, you entirely missed entire the point of my original post (doesn't surprise me since you seem to overlook many things <3). Cheap mice aside, the point is those who say they MUST have full size keeb for video games can probably get by using MMO mice as their numpad.
this one is by far my favorite mouse. im using it for a very long time now
Played with a normal mouse up until stormblood so it's not something that would stop you from playing well it might just give additional room to bind certain things to be more accessible. But since you already know to use modifier keys for your bars that shouldn't be a big problem. If you need to you can also use another modifier for another bar if you have trouble binding something good for the last bit of the regular hotbar.
Other than that I guess it might just be a deal of getting more used to things, maybe re-organize your hud-layout so things are easier to see. For instance increase the size of the buff-debuff bar helps for quick looks.
The only other thing I guess while playing healer is that maybe playing a tank too would help. It's nice for seeing the other side of things in any case. Like how it's good for tank players to have played a job with positionals like monk etc so they keep in mind positioning.
If you want advice on a mouse I recently got a UtechSmart Venus Gaming Mouse. I really like it.
I use an MMO mouse and honestly it's so so useful. Here's the one ive been using for probably give years now, and it's only $30 so great for being on a budget!
UtechSmart Venus Gaming Mouse RGB Wired, 16400 DPI High Precision Laser Programmable MMO Computer Gaming Mice [IGN's Recommendation] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hw6cDb0TF9X2C
Dude, FUUUUUUUUCK razer products man. They last like no time at all honestly.
I bought the Utech mmo moust for like a fraction of the price and it has been going strong 3 years and counting.
This is my absolute favorite I've ever had.
Nice and cheap, numeric buttons on the side are a must for me so this pleased me immensely, and of course the packaged software for RGB control and sensitivity control is great, as well as the sensitivity changing buttons near the scroll wheel. And if that's not enough, you can open it up and add (or remove) some of the packaged in weights if you like your mouse a little heavier or lighter. Piece of beauty, this one is.
This is the mouse I'm currently using, it's just a random mouse I found on amazon a couple years ago. I'm not super knowledgeable on mice so I dunno what fits are better haha
I've been playing World of Warcraft for most of my life so I bought one of those MMO mice with a double-click button and 12 buttons on the side (This one if you'd like to know). Mapping those buttons to my DAW has been a life-changer.
It's the most impressive mouse I've ever seen for <$30 honestly. Profiles/macros/rgb/removable weights/RGB.. It been going strong for over 5 years with raging of all sorts. I'm considering buying another just to keep in the closet in case the one day this one dies..

Funny I just checked Amazon and it's$10 more expensive than what it was half a decade ago... Still worth it IMHO
I wouldn't say that there's a very noticeable difference in that amount but I recommend this mouse it's probably the best gaming mouse for the price
UtechSmart Venus 16400 DPI High Precision Laser MMO Gaming Mouse https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_KXnBCbX8XS8HX
Very nice, I’m using a similar mouse i love it but i’m always on the lookout for bigger brand name mice. The reason I haven’t found one that I want to switch to is the button to the left of the left mouse click. That button is basically essential to me I’ve gotten so used to it being there but it seems like no other 12-side-button mice has that button.
i bought a cheaper one, from utechsmart
i've never used a naga so i can't compare it to that, but it's been pretty great for me. after about 2 years the left click got a little sensitive and would sometimes click 2-3 times in quick succession. it's about 4 years old now and that's the only problem that i've had and i dont think it's a big enough problem to stop using it. i also wrote a quick ahk script to fix the problem if i ever notice it annoying me, ill include it t the end of the post if anyone has a similar problem or something. it's more of an annoyance when im on reddit than when im gaming but i thought i should mention it
other than that it comes with it's own software, i think the keys are default set to 1-12 without the software, with it you can set it to whatever you want, i haven't had any problems with the software. it has a macro function also, which i've never used
MButton:: If (A_TimeSincePriorHotkey < 150) Return Send {MButton Down} KeyWait, MButton Send {MButton Up} Return
all it really does is refuse mouse clicks in the 150ms after you click, if you find yourself clicking faster than seven times in a second you can change 150 to 100 or whatever you want
Get this mouse: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_D782Ab4323MV4
Map the building buttons (wall, ramp, floor) to the back row (closest to your palm) 10, 11, 12.
It made building effectively and efficiently very easy for me, so I highly recommend it. For reference, a very prominent streamer Daequan uses a similar mouse by Redragon and has given the same advice.
I also have the weapon buttons bound to the 1,2,3,4,5,6 buttons on the mouse.
I have a UTechSmart Venus and absolutely love it.
https://www.amazon.com/Gaming-Mouse-UtechSmart-Venus-Precision/dp/B00FNKMVUO
Pros:
Easy to change DPI
Higher DPI than anything else I could find
Re-programmable side buttons numbered 1 to 12. By default they act as a numberpad if you don't set a macro to them (bots are bad, don't use them for botting)
Every single button can be reprogrammed!!!
Easy to use software
5 different "profiles" you can set and switch to.
Small "burst-fire" (triple left-click) button to the left of the left-click
Can set the LEDs to literally any color
Adjustable centerweights
Cons:
Might be annoying for small, Donald Trump-like hands
Due to its large size it may not comfortable fit small mousepads.
Wired only, no wireless mode available.
If you decide to get it, I recommend setting one of the sidekeys to switch profiles for quick access, and to set a different LED color for each profile. I'm available to answer any questions you got =)
Hey! I don’t know how much help this will be but I believe it might have some potential for your situation. I found this mouse that has a number pad on the side of the mouse. It comes with an interface on your PC that allows you to change any button on the mouse to almost anything you can think of! You can program macros, colors and a lot of other options. Gaming Mouse
Yeah I got a little excited too :(
But someone on r/pcmasterrace suggested the UtechSmart Venus 50 a while ago, and it's meant to be pretty good. I've got it in my sights for an entry level MMO mouse.
I did some digging. It's a UtechSmart Venus MMO mouse: https://www.amazon.com/Gaming-Mouse-UtechSmart-Venus-Precision/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1513151374&sr=1-2&keywords=utechsmart+venus
Very similar to the perdition.
For $30 you can get this I knew nothing about this mouse before I got it, and I paid the same price it is now. For $30 I couldn't be happier with this thing. It has full side buttons, you can change how sensitive is on the fly, and change what those levels actually are, you can change its color as well. It has weights in the bottom that you can take out to make it lighter as well, with a carrying case for the weights. Took a bit to get used to but I have had it for around 6-8 months and it has held up pretty solidly and if it breaks within the next 6 months I won't be too upset as I only paid $30 for it.
A lot of people are saying the Naga, and yes, it's a good mouse, but I have bought too many Razer mice that failed after less than a year. Something would go on them, like the scroll wheel would become wonky and not scroll properly, the left click button would start registering as a double click when I only clicked it once. This has happened with literally every Razer product I have ever bought. Never again.
The most recent mouse I have been using for more than a year now that hasn't shown any signs of wear and tear is this
It's essentially exactly the same as the Naga, it's cheaper, has more profiles to customize, more buttons on it. It's just been a great mouse that hasn't shit the bed in over a year, which is more than I can say for any Razer product.
UK!
Won't work on mac tho (the macro buttons?) ? ;(
Listening to Kephrii, aim with your arm, not your wrist. Have a big mouse pad too.
But my mouse was tailored for MMO gaming, (has the 12 buttons on the side.) I just never bothered to get a dedicated FPS mouse.
It also came with those little weights to put it on the bottom, i had those removed, wonder if that'll help some.
Edit: I use the Utech MMO Gaming mouse, it goes from 600 - 16000 dpi, pretty insane, like who would want a mouse with 16000 dpi? but it was cheap and I was playing WoW at the time and my razer naga 2012 broke. So I got this, its pretty good for standard gaming, for fps i'd probably prefer a smaller mouse, but meh.
its also RGB, you gotta have that. increases your aim by .02%, proven fact.
I've had This one for a couple of years now and like it a lot. I'm no pro gamer but I think it gets the job done really well and is RGB (excluding the red DPI indicators). Also, ignore the "sale" it's pretty much always around this price typically 38 dollars or so.
I use this one.
It has plenty of extra buttons for whatever you want. I use the normal buttons for group 1 and 2, the extra left button for alpha, buttons 1,2,3 for more firing groups, and I put the other side buttons into consumables.
It also has nice programmable DPI settings. I set them up like this:
Level 0: Normal X, Normal Y.
Level 1: Maximum X, Normal Y (good for shielding with arms).
Level 2-5: Disabled.
I just got a gaming keyboard and mouse, for my rotation is just isn't comfortable all on my keyboard. Hence I got a 19 button mouse. It just arrived today so very excited about it. Worried about the transition though. As far as movement goes. I never used the keyboard in any MMO I played for movement. I always felt more comfortable with my mouse. Also the mouse I got was on sale I will link it to you
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FNKMVUO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Surprised nobody's mentioned the UtechSmart Venus mouse. It's inexpensive, better for larger hands and very well-made. 12-button grid on the side, programmable colors, all the good stuff.
yeah, even I saw that in the morning by the time I come to the office its dead. very bad on amazons part to cut it short after advertising it.
alternate is utechsmart venus mouse for $39 for prime members. https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Venus-16400-Precision-Gaming/dp/B00FNKMVUO
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to a Naga and came across the UtechSmart Venus. Had it for over a year with no problems at all.
So my trusty Razer Naga is on its last legs, after 6 years of dedicated service to the cause. I've been looking at replacement mice, and I realize that I absolutely need the side number grid. At this point, I can't remember how to play World of Warcraft without it.
My question is: Should I just dive into another Razer Naga? Has Logitech made a similar mouse? Is there a cheaper alternative I should look at?
Edit: I'm seeing this mouse on Amazon for about $40 right now, normally priced at $100. The reviews seem solid - has anybody had experience with Utech?
Edit 2: !check
I use 6 of the side buttons of my mouse
12 if you count the assigned to ctrl
mana | <area rune>
vita | exori <element>
exura | SD
On CTRL:
utamo vita | gran hur
<element> bomb (on self) | gran vis lux
ue | vis hur
walk with left hand , pinky to ctrl|shift

Have this mouse
can never go back from this :P
I always recommend this one. Regularly goes on sale for $30. Plenty of buttons (important to me). DPI profiles that are easy to adjust and switch between. It's not a big name brand, but it's served me perfectly for a few years now. My only gripe is that I can't change the color of the DPI switcher light or the wheel light. The pictures show the wheel light matching the side buttons, so maybe they released a revision that allows it since I bought mine.
Are you just looking for adjustable/high DPI or a certain number of buttons?
I always recommend this mouse. It's not a big brand name, but it's much cheaper and has served me well over the last few years. Goes on sale regularly for $30 or less.
For something cheaper, but with excellent DPI options and side buttons, check out the UtechSmart Venus. It's wired (don't know if that's a dealbreaker for you), but otherwise, I can't think of a downside. I've used it for a few years now and the thing is fantastic. When it goes on sale, it can get down to $30.
It's worth it to me, but it's not like I couldn't play without it. I just strongly prefer it.
I received the first edition Naga as a gift and used it up until this year. Shortly before Legion came out I picked up a UtechSmart Venus because after many years my poor Naga doubleclicked like crazy no matter how much I fiddled with it (can't complain though - 7 years?!). So far no complaints! I especially like it if I'm healing, but I use it on all my characters of course.
That is what it is. I would consider this mouse in case you ever want to get a new one that is similar. It's more ergonomic, imo
I had a Naga for about a year before the left click went out on me. I went a cheap route and bought this chinese mouse from Amazon called a UTech Smart... It has the 12 buttons on the side and a few others, I actually like it alot! Been using it for about 8 or 9 months and it's still working great, was only $35 dollars. Edit: Looks like it's closer to $40. It's a UTechSmart Venus
I ended up going with the UtechSmart Venus. It was a really tough choice between the two, but this one seemed to be more ergonomic while offering similar features
As for audiosurf, on AS2, my computer only hits 45-50 fps (old laptop). I was trying to find mods to make the game easier to run, as I'd like to be able to play ninja turbo (or your mod). Do you know if that's available? Otherwise, is there any way to make AS1's mono faster than elite ironmode [as-steep]?
> I find myself standing still when I attack mobs. I can't seem to get the hang of moving around when attacking. I use the mouse to choose my attacks instead of the number keys. The number keys just feel... "off". I walk around using right-click instead of WASD. So that's why I'm having trouble moving when attacking. I'm also coming from console so kb+m is still a bit whacky for me.
If you think you might be sticking around for a while, I highly recommend picking up an MMO mouse This one is the same one my hubby uses and is relatively inexpensive. I personally could never acclimate to using keyboard keybinds, but an MMO mouse seriously helped me and my gameplay.
I got this mouse (Utech Venus) as a gift and I map all my normally inaccessible number pad keys onto the side. I've used it for almost a year and it's decent build quality and functionality is a steal for it's price. To add to this, I got a Steam controller for $50 and for less than half the price of the Elite controller it has 10 times the button mapping capability of it. It blows me away how shallow a console user's view of customizability is, when they view the Elite controller as the pinnacle of customization.
I've had my Utech Smart Venus MMO mouse for a few years now... Have never had an issue with it. Way more reasonable price than the Razer Naga (which I used before this one..) and IMO way more comfortable to use.
The Corsair Scimitar is decent from what I hear. You either like it or you don't. I've tried the Corsair M95 and ended up not liking it. A bit heavy and the software sucked. Utech puts out one that is supposedly pretty good for cheap.
This one. I've been using it for about 3 years now. It fits my hand like a glove, and feels much better than my Razer Naga. I got the Naga for Christmas, used it for an hour, and absolutely hated it, so I gave it to my brother since he got into WoW.
Don't be scared off by the price. You'd think a $30 MMO mouse would be cheap in terms of quality, but it's not. It feels higher quality than the Razer Naga, which is significantly more expensive than this one.
this is my mouse, iv had it for almost a year now, nothing is wrong with it, basically brand new and it's cheap http://www.amazon.co.uk/UtechSmart-Venus-Programmable-programmable-Customizing/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449447161&sr=8-1&keywords=utechsmart+mice
If anyone wants a mmo mouse, but a cheap one. I recommend getting this
Everyone always circlejerks razer and logitech but they dont make the only mmo gaming mouse, this one went way past my expectations.
Thanks! I've certainly started to pick up the "on the move" staff wielding a bit better. I can target while moving a bit better now, so I only stop moving when I feel like I don't need to be running. (Or, as you said, cast Meteor Shower.) I still need to incorporate my other elements a bit more, especially while Fire 5 is on cooldown. I think that's what I'm going to work on this weekend.
I actually do have an MMO mouse. :D I got one of those knock-off G600's (the UtechSmart Venus) for about $30 shipped a few months ago, and it has performed admirably. I'd hate to play with the full keyboard and just left-click and right-click... :P I have the 1-8 skills binded to 1-8 on the mouse, 9 is binded to Q, and the elite is binded to E. Attunements are 9-12 on the mouse. It's awesome needing so little real-estate to move around on. I'm also going to have to try the "fast with indicator" setting.
Arcane Brilliance is a ways off... XD I may have been better off saving all of the skill points I've gotten so far, instead of trying to unlock the tiers in Utility. Oh, well. It'll be unlocked before too long. I do have Arcane Wave though, I believe. I'll have to start incorporating more blast finishers into my game.
I've got a UtechSmart Venus 50 and it does the trick.
I mostly play MMOs, and the keybindings at the thumb are amazing. It takes a little getting used to, as hitting the buttons with your thumbs tends to move the mouse slightly.
As for the mouse you're looking at, I had it for a few months before replacing it. Not because it was a bad mouse, it's pretty nice and responsive actually! But I always like trying different mice. For sure though, I would recommend the UTechSmart Venus And if you don't want a mouse with too many buttons the Pluto or Uranus might suit you. Apart from not being expensive, the build quality of their peripherals hold up. I've owned their Venus mouse and Saturn keyboard for over a year and they are very nice build quality, even for the price, and comfortable as it easily takes the shape of your hand with the finger rest it has. Although I do have to say the mouse wheel is a bit slidey.
I personally use a UTECH smart MMO gaming mouse
Cheap, dependable, fast and free replacements not requiring you to ship originals back if anything happens (when I got my first one one the #6 button didn't work, they shipped another one and got that one a day later and they didn't require me to return the other one)
It took a while to get used to going from a corsair mouse to it, but it is insanely comfortable for me because my ring finger has some good support, and I have pretty large hands. After getting used to it it is very nice and easy to discern from the separate buttons because it is basically 2x groups of 6 angled buttons. I use 1-6 for my frequent abilities and 7-12 for other things. I can easily press any button I need to quickly and know exactly where it is and what it feels like.
I ended up getting one for my wife who also plays. She has small hands but really long fingers for a girl, she said it is a bit too big for her hand but overall she likes it.
this UtechSmart Venus is an absolute BEAST.
5 programmable profiles that can be cycled with a button on the bottom of the mouse. 5 dpi levels per profile that you can specifically set what each level is from 50-16000 dpi
you change dpi levels with convenient buttons under the scroll wheel
there are 12 buttons by the thumb that are completely programmable for anything from a single keyboard key to a macro. extra button on top by the left click makes a nice reload or secondary fire button.
for $40 there's nothing that even comes close.
I picked up the utechsmart Venus a few months ago, and I'm really happy I upgraded. I was using a wireless laptop mouse for 5 years before, it makes a huge difference in comfort. And programmable buttons can be really nice in games with heavy keybinds
This is a much cheaper alternative, and I personally use this. It works well.
http://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Precision-Programmable-programmable-Manufacturers/dp/B00FNKMVUO
You need to be sure that your friend doesn't already have gaming mouse though.
Honestly i used to do stuff like this all the time. But it still felt way too busy for me. So i bought a mouse with 12 buttons on the side as i play a lot of mmos. It's honestly so nice i only use my keyboard for WASD, CTRL, ALT and Shift. Everything else is bound to my mouse. I could never go back now.
If you're looking to get one i recommend (like many) the Razer Naga. Or if you're on a budget (Like me) I found this one on amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/UtechSmart-Programmable-programmable-Customizing-Manufacturers/dp/B00FNKMVUO
It does the job and I've no complaints with it. It even comes with it's own program so you can change the macros on it.
Here is my UI in game: https://imgur.com/2MCLAr0
Not sure if you can find this in Sweden, but this mouse has been great for me. It regularly goes on sale on both Amazon and Newegg for $30.
Amazon, Newegg, and /r/buildapcsales are your best friends for sales.
For mice, if he's the type that loves a lot of buttons on his mouse, I highly recommend this piece of beauty. I've had it for a couple years now and while it's off-brand (making it $30ish cheaper than comparable mice), it's held up great. It frequently goes on sale for $30.
If he's the type to set up his laptop on a desk when at home and he wants a dedicated keyboard for it, I'd recommend anything mechanical. I have this one and the price it is right now ($90) is fantastic (if not in your budget, that's fine too - there are other mechs for cheaper, usually without the custom lighting)
If you want a lot of side buttons, I recommend this mouse. It's not a big brand or anything, but I've been using it for years and it works great.
I know everyone is suggesting logitech g502's, but this is the mouse I use https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Precision-Programmable-Computer-Recommendation/dp/B00FNKMVUO?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1 This, amazing mouse
I honestly bought this mouse as a backup when my Razor started double clicking and it has became my favourite ever.
I used this mouse for a very long time before eventually getting the wireless version of it. I fully recommend it.
Comes down to preference but I LOVE the feel of this one in my hand as well as the side buttons. Does NOT feel like a $30 mouse:

I have this mouse
https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Precision-Programmable-Computer-Recommendation/dp/B00FNKMVUO
All the bells and whistles of a Razr Naga at half the price
I use KBM but the way I setup mine is due to my mouse I'm not sure if it'll be of much help to you. But I have a Gaming Mouse with 12 side buttons, it makes it easier to use my skills with the side buttons.
Here is a screenshot of my setting
Basically, I use 1 for special sheath, 2 for spirit blade, 3 foresight slash, 4 for wirebug reticle, 4+left mouse click for soaring kick, followed by 2 for helm splitter or sakura.
Left + Right click for fade slash.
Here is a link to a dual blade keybind, check 0:35, maybe you can use that as a reference
I went with one of these off amazon.
Will I notice any recognizable improvements if I switched to this mouse from this one? https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_RQ0QWDYT0QS3HSJ5F8T0

That aside I recommend the pillars of eternity series. Very good
Corsair mechanical keyboard and this mouse (which is actually really good)
Here's a screenshot of my healing UI
Here's a screenshot of my tank/dps UI

Things to note: Paladins have a ton of shit to track, but only a couple of things are super important (my bottom row of weakauras). It looks daunting but I rarely look at 50% of the weakaura icons. Mainly just looking at when judgement/holy shock/consecrations is off CD and when I can use word of glory.
I use Elvui since it's easy to change virtually anything about your UI once you get it down, so you don't need to rely on a bunch of different addons, Elvui really does it all. Also, I just like the layout of elvui in general.
The focus is to have everything you need in the center of your screen, that way you don't need to move your eyes much at all to see your cooldowns and heal quickly while still keeping up with your surrounding to keep up with battle mechanics. Additionally, you want to keep your screen as empty as possible so that you can see the battle field. For me, it's tough keeping up with focusing on everyone's health bars while keeping track of the swirlies on the ground that will devour my soul.
IMO, it's extremely important to have all of your abilities keybound and to use some sort of click casting (I use Clique). You don't have time to click a frame and move your mouse down to a spell you want to use while keeping up with avoiding mechanics. I highly recommend this mouse - Utechsmart Venus 16400. It's nice to have it in general to keybind spells on all your other characters. I flat out do not use my keyboard for anything other than movement on all of my characters. In fact, sometime my keyboard disconnects and it doesn't affect my ability to play to game at all lol. This the mouse is a 12 button layout, I have my action bars set up the same way to make it easy to remember positions of abilities and mouse buttons. The left action bars is typically my heals that I use + some big cooldowns, the middle is attack abilities and also big cooldowns, and the right is typically mobility abilities, pots, trinkets, etc.
I'm not a super high level player, this is just the things I found that helped since when I first started healing I was having a lot of problems keeping up. I flat out wouldn't heal if I didn't have access to addons, even though its literally the only spec I play. If you want a copy of my profile I'll be happy to give it to you. I use 2 profiles, one for healing and one for DPS.

utechsmart venus is nice. little thumb shelf under the side buttons
I have a UtechSmart Venus which is has been pretty solid and laster longer by itself than two Razer Nagas that I went through and for half the price.
I bought the UtechSmart Venus about 6(5?) years ago on a whim because it had overnight delivery for free from saturday night to sunday morning, so I went ahead and snagged it. I always figured I could just return it if I hated it.
So far, this is the absolute best mouse I have ever used. The only two complaints I have about it are, the RGB is very lackluster. The mouse wheel can only change with 5 preset colors while the rest of the mouse is more or less true RGB, its weird. That, and the middle mouse button is a tad stiff to click. Besides that, this mouse is absolutely amazing, and the drivers have never ONCE Failed on me. Not something I can say about literally any other brand (corsair, logitech, razer, the list goes on).

You don't know no $100 Razer gaming mouse, Utech is high quality and Amazon's number 1 choice of gaming mouse. Costs so little and been using it for 2 years now, still going strong.

UtechSmart Venus 16400 DPI High Precision Laser MMO Gaming Mouse https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_mbHrCbCKK1C53
Got this one for Christmas. Dont have any complaints about it.
The top-rated UtechSmart Venus: https://www.amazon.com/Gaming-Mouse-UtechSmart-Venus-Precision/dp/B00FNKMVUO
The Redragon Perdition: https://www.amazon.com/Perdition-Redragon-High-Precision-Computer-Programmable/dp/B00GU8W5AE
The Havit MMO mouse: https://www.amazon.com/HV-MS735-12000DPI-Programmable-Optical-PMW3360/dp/B01DW2VQ5A
Those are some more options besides the G600. Redragon has excellent reviews. All the mice I've listed above have excellent reviews. All you have to do is choose. :)
There's also the Logitech G602. The 602 is more comfortable for me as I can't stand the ring finger rest on MMO mice. The 602 can also use 1 or 2 AA batteries for weight purposes which lasts for months. Further, the 602 has several extra buttons up top, one of which can be used as a shift button to turn those 6 side buttons into 12.
You definitely don't want the Razer. Especially after you read the reviews. You should also consider the Logitech G602.

The 600 has a shift button on the ring finger rest which can turn the 12 side buttons into 24 if you need that many. Also, alot of people have said that the mouse wheel fails too soon in the 600. There are better alternatives:

I think that's very subjective, I've heard people swear-by and mock just about every "gaming brand", for one reason or another.
For me, personally, I don't really look for "gaming" branded stuff, and if I do (like with my mouse) I may just buy a knock off. For example I purchased a knock-off gaming chair for around £60, where if I purchased it branded it'd cost me around 4/5 times that (it's a really good chair). I also purchased the UtechSmart Venus, which is comparable to the Razor Naga, for less than half the price (although not a knock-off, and I actually prefer the look/feel for the Venus).
Likewise I'm also looking for a monitor with FreeSync, and this AOC Monitor and this Crossover Monitor got my attention (I'd like to do more research before I buy though). Granted I could get better if I went with one of those "Top Of The Line" brands, but these should serve me just as well for gaming.

This looks like my mouse, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO can anyone compair them?
I got a new Venus gaming mouse on Cyber Monday to match my STRAFE keyboard, it feels great.
Here ya go. Just a fairly cheap Utech mouse. Lasted me two years so far.
La G600 je l'utilise actuellement, très bonne souris.
Utech smart Venus : https://www.amazon.com/Gaming-Mouse-UtechSmart-Venus-Precision/dp/B00FNKMVUO
I got it on sale for (I think) $25, and it was money well spent. I'm never going back now.
The MMO Mouse (twelve on the side) has:
All the F buttons are hit with the tip of my thumbnail, which makes it easy to play Elementalist and Engineer. It also makes it easy to hit the Chronomancer Continuum Split button and then drag my thumb along the line of F skills to burst people with condi's in WvW :3
When I get the mounts going, I will make them CTRL+F1-F4 because I can hold CTRL easily whilst moving since it is right at the corner of my hand.
I use https://www.amazon.com/Gaming-Mouse-UtechSmart-Venus-Precision/dp/B00FNKMVUO for reference. It mostly fits me... lower half of my thumb can hit 7-12 and upper half for the others. The buttons are all wide enough that I do not double-hit them.
P.S. Yes, I made my own keyboard layout so movement keys look funny. That side of the keyboard is laid out with:
;vflwc
kontsh
zbrdgi
I bought the UtechSmart Venus last year on sale for ~$20 and I've been extremely happy with it: https://www.amazon.com/Gaming-Mouse-UtechSmart-Venus-Precision/dp/B00FNKMVUO
Thanks for the suggestion This is the mouse I ordered a few days ago https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FNKMVUO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If cost is an issue, then is probably the best low cost MMO mouse.

The G600 is a great mouse as well. I don't Razor stuff myself since they've never held up well for me.
I just bought a Utech Venus reviews look good so I am gonna give it a try. I posted the link if you want to take a look at it.
Here is what I have https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Venus-16400-Precision-Gaming/dp/B00FNKMVUO and I cannot stress enough how much better the game was after switching to it.
I've been using this mouse for nearly two years. Still going strong.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6rWDybBFHCTMS For 40 dollars cheaper and is 4.5 stars, also the razer Naga is 60 dollars now :P
Got it because it was on sale for ~$30 and had a ton of side buttons. No regrets at all. It's lasted years so far and still functions perfectly.
I have tiny lady hands and this only took a little bit of time to get used to.
I can't help with the keybindings but can you afford around $30? These are good and I just bought one to replace my naga.
one of them things https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Venus-16400-Precision-Gaming/dp/B00FNKMVUO
cheep and i like it as a replacement for my nag
Mouse movement can be erratic with zombies on the screen due to aim assist. Up to 180 degree(or more?) spin when just moving to target a zombie next to another zombie(not that 2 zombies next to each other causes it, just illustrating how little I'm intending to move the mouse when it happen). The last straw was when I was running away from a train and I ended up doing a 180 and running back into them. Been using a controller since because the mouse screw me over without fail. Never had an issue with the mouse prior and it still works for normal computer use.
Here a video of me trying to replicate it in spawn. You can kinda see it throughout but the part when I aim straight up in the air is due the bug. video link
This is the mouse I'm using. I have it set to 2050 DPI. Polling rate is set at 500HZ. I haven't tried adjusting those to see if the issue goes away. mouse link
I created a post to see if anyone else had the issue and so far one person said their friend is experiencing it. post link
Please read my original rant about this product.
You have to ask yourself if the advertised productivity features are:
And based on that, whether it's worth your money. Considering the facts you could easily deduce in a few minutes, how the macros/analogue buttons work, the conclusion is that there is almost no R&D in this product.
I guarantee all the additional buttons borrow from either the keyboard (numpad keys) or xinput for the analogue buttons. Theres no magic to it. If you need macros you have the hardware and software readily available to you, just be creative with keybinds.
If it's just about the additional buttons there are absurdly chear solutions out there.
1: (pan with middle mouse button, their copy & paste shenanigans = multiple clicks and or ctrl+a/c/v)
2: in either the abundant gui/drivers that come with mice/keyboards these days or autoIT/autohotkey.
$39 for this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FNKMVUO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I just bought it. I like it a lot.
yeah, I got this mouse on Amazon for $40. Thing kicks ass.
I've been using this mouse for a while now and absolutely love it. Not wireless, but I prefer wired anyway.
Just another quick link. This mouse is pretty much an upgrade of the same exact style as the Perdition I use. Just like Redragon it's a budget brand who probably bought a bulk supply cheap and is selling them at a super low cost (about what I paid for mine).
My Perdition has lasted me 3 years so far and is still kicking good, and I log an average 50-60 hours a week playing games. Proof of my game time/play and that doesn't count League of Legends, Hearthstone, and misc games I play.
Why do MMO Mice never get any love? I've had my UTechSmart Venus for the last 3 years and it has never once failed me in any way, shape, or form.
I actually have 3 of them. 1 for my wife, 1 at work and 1 at home.
If you have money to spend I would suggest Razer Naga as was already mentioned, but if you're looking for a budget mouse check out UtechSmart. Link to: amazon
thanks, yeah thats available http://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Version-UtechSmart-Venus-Precision/dp/B00FNKMVUO/
Personally i'd reccomend the Utechsmart venus if you don't have as much money to spend.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/UtechSmart-Venus-Programmable-programmable-Customizing/dp/B00FNKMVUO
is this the upgraded version, like the one sold on amazon? http://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Venus-Programmable-programmable-Customizing/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
The Logitech g600 is only $40 on Amazon right now too. I've used pretty much every major and a few minor brands of MMO mice and it's by far my favorite. The uTechsmart Venus is a good alternative but with the g600 being only a dollar more right now it isn't worth it to give up on the build quality of the g600 in favour of the Venus.
I fractured my clavicle last year, granted is was my left clavicle, but I had a lot of time on my hand so I learned to play war Thunder one handed with this gaming mouse. I mapped 2456 as wasd respectively, it takes some getting used to but eh ha ha... If you get a mouse with the numbers on the side you've got at least a few keys you could map things on. Here's a left handed mouse that could work possibly!
I should pay attention.... I just clicked on the link that OP put up.... Sigh :/
if you like buttons on your mouse!
I would honestly recommend something like this for MMOs.
UtechSmart Venus Gaming Mouse RGB Wired, 16400 DPI High Precision Laser Programmable MMO Computer Gaming Mice [IGN's Recommendation] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FNKMVUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_w7BFDbES3T9M8
I use this one and love it, 12 side buttons that you can assign keys to, you can change the color to any color, and you can set 5 different dpi however you like (you can make each setting any number eg #1 can be 300 #2 can be 16400 if you want) also super comfortable and not too jittery
The Razers and Logitechs are all fine and good, but for those without that kind of money try the UTECH SMART VENUS - a cheap MMO mouse without the compromise in quality. ive been using it for years without issue and feels as good as a Razer without the high price tag (my last Naga lasted a year until breaking).
I've used a Naga and the Logitech g600 for a few years. They both eventually died after 2-3 years each. I picked up one of the Chinese knock offs for cheap and i have to say its as good as any of the others.
https://www.amazon.com/UtechSmart-Venus-16400-Precision-Gaming/dp/B00FNKMVUO
I would recommend spending a bit more for a nice mouse, especially when it comes to having macros. The Corsair Scimitar is an MMO mouse with 12 buttons but costs around $60.
