It's not much bit it has AO and an IR and fits in the TD bag as well as coming with QD rings. I've never seen one but I know a lot of people use them on their TD's. You might be able to find it cheaper than this also.
This is a bottom of the barrel optic.
Will it work? Yes.
But you give up so much choosing such a low quality scope. You'll be so much better off choosing a UTG Bug BusterScope at a minimum
I highly recommend this UTG Bugbuster at this price point. This even includes an RGB recticle and SWAT AO with min focusing distance to 3 yards.
Been using this version of bugbuster for a week and loving it. It's compact, light and yet very sturdy. Waterproof, dustproof and more. As most reviews states top 5 best scope under $200.
UTG 3-9X32 1" BugBuster Scope, AO, RGB Mil-dot, QD Rings , Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005UGIMNQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WA67J65ETS809AD8TK70?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I know I posted my weapon here a little while ago but I have some other questions. So I have this scope that I got like 7 years ago for my AR15 and it’s worked fine. UTG 3-9X32 1" BugBuster Scope link
It’s always held zero and out to 300 yards I can consistently hit a 6”plate. However I’m wondering if I may be better off with an ACOG style scope instead? And if so what might you guys recommend that isn’t going to cost me like $1500 for a Trijicon.
My setup is for plinking and possible SHTF/home defense. Going to be looking into suppressors soon and I haven’t really been able to do much with this for a few years till now so just looking for ideas. Some dude gave me shit already about my 45 BUIS but for me I like them. I can quickly transition from the scope for distance to the irons for closer targets and hit what I’m aiming at which in my opinion is what should matter. I bought a green laser and have a good light for it but adding all that on at once seemed a little much. I bought a Vickers sling and a single point sling and got a 6-24x50 scope to try out some longer range targets out to about 600 yards if I can find a range that long around me.
So anyway as you can see I’ve bought a lot of stuff over the years for this and would welcome any additional advice so I’m not just throwing money out there.
Don't know if you ordered one yet but if you're looking for a proper scope with magnification and some illumination my father has had good results with this
I have this bad boy on my VEPR Ak47 that I can quickly mount on. Do you have any suggestions on a cheap sight that gives the AR its AR look? I will get a scope for it as well, but I just never use the iron sights.
Or whatever kind is appropriate. They all have a 3/8" rimfire base machined in to the receiver, so if you have a rimfire scope that has 3/8" mounts you don't need anything. Otherwise the receiver is also drilled and tapped for Weaver #12 mounts and you can pick up a picatinny rail that will fit on those holes.
When it gets time to choose a scope, these things: https://www.amazon.com/UTG-3-9X32-BugBuster-Scope-Mil-dot/dp/B005UGIMNQ Are fantastic little scopes for use on this kind of rifle. They have a LOT of features for the money, they come with QD rings, etc. I run this exact one on my 10/22 Takedown Tactical and it's great. I run this scope's bigger brother on my Ruger American Rimfire.
This is the optic I have. It fits nice however I think I need to adjust my eye relief a bit. Over all I'm very happy with it and it fits in the original bag so I'm happy.
UTG "Bug Buster."
$85.
Has locking, zero resettable turrets, 3x - 9x zoom, adjustable parallax, comes with fairly nice QD rings, end caps, and a sun shade. I put one on my 10/22 takedown, and it's great. I don't think you can beat them for the money.

Amazon.ca has a decent air rifle scope selection. UTG are lower end but air rifle rated scopes with decent ratings. http://www.amazon.ca/UTG-SCP-M392AOLWQ-Compact-Picatinny-Sunshade/dp/B005UGIMNQ
I just bought a UTG hunting air rifle scope from amazon.ca for a Benjamin Discovery it works great.
I use this one for my .22 and it's good and not too expensive. There might be cheaper ones now, so you can shop around. But this one is good if you can afford it. Or if you're up for paying more then i'm sure you can find a higher quality one. This one got the job done for me though.
So for reference, I have a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14x40 and it's been a fine scope. I've also used someone else's Nikon P-223 scope and it was good too, so you probably wouldn't go far wrong with either of the ones you linked. But, adjustable parallax is something I probably wouldn't get a scope without anymore, especially for .22 where the range can vary from across the room distance to 100+ yards. The key words to look for in the scope specs are "adjustable parallax", "adjustable objective" (AO, when the parallax adjustment is done by twisting a ring around the objective lens at the front), or "side-focus" (when the parallax adjustment is on a turret on the side of the scope).
If you want to stick with Nikon, it looks like they're making an inexpensive adjustable parallax scope now. The tech specs on that site say it adjusts down to 50 yards, but the mark on the adjustment ring in the picture says 10, and Amazon also says 10 yards minimum, which is good for .22.
On the lower end of the budget, I also have a number of inexpensive Leapers/UTG/Centerpoint scopes (3-9x40, 3-9x35, 1.5-4x32, and a couple others) and have actually been really impressed with them for the money. Their main market seems to be air rifles, which many people take less seriously, but air rifle scopes have to be very rugged, and typically can adjust their parallax to much closer than scopes meant for rifles. And the prices are pretty damn good for the features. This UTG 3-9x32 has almost 2000 reviews and still 4.5 stars on Amazon, is very compact, comes with a sunshade, caps, and QD scope rings (I just got a set of UTG QD rings for another scope and they seem OK so far, .22 isn't very demanding), adjusts down to 3 yards, and is under $80. Amazing what they're doing in China these days. There are a number of similar models from other brands with various features and zoom ranges, probably all made in the same factory in China. I'm not sure if any of them are notably better quality than any others, I mostly stick with UTG for my cheap scopes because I have experience with them now.
One I saw just now is this Bushnell 2-7x32, and looks like it might be a good alternative.
On the higher end of the budget scale, Vortex has a 4-12x50 and a 4-12x40 that are adjustable. That's also more magnification though.
ive got a weaver 3-9 and utg bug buster found here: https://www.amazon.com/UTG-3-9X32-BugBuster-Scope-Mil-dot/dp/B005UGIMNQ/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2SMH2IPVCGW5W&keywords=utg+3-9x32+1+bugbuster+scope&qid=1659921428&sprefix=utg+3-9%2Caps%2C152&sr=8-5&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840

Id do 80 for either with low rings
This is my favorite "cheap" scope. The UTG Bug Buster. For $95ish it performs like a scope twice the price. They're very well made and very reliable.
