Looks like the same one I used.

It's great and pretty much what I expected. However the mounting bolts they give you are for cement walls, I just bought some 3" lag bolts from home depot that worked perfectly.
Here is the one i use, kinda pricey though
You can find cheaper 6U cabinets from $50 that works just as well
You should probably buy a rack cabinet to keep those servo motors safe and away from children and pets
This is the one I bought if interested
But for real do you have room for an enclosed 6u rack or something? It might hide that wall port too 🤔. I have deployed multiple instances of the UDM Pro in office and residential deployments. You can’t beat the cost/value ratio. Not only is the hardware really good, but the software side makes everything really easy to get up and running very quickly. You are just fine going with the UDM Pro but it might be good to wait out for the UDM Pro SE. That might take a year though before you can get your hands on one, so I would just pull the trigger on the current UDM Pro.
I like the AP U6 LR. It’s got good performance. I would use design.ui.com to plan out your exact deployment.
I really like the V7 6U rack for the UDM Pro, switch, and anything else you might need. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1JJHTO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZB5G9KWM7HJHHZG54XVY

What you want is a rackmount enclosure. There's tons to choose from. Here's one example: https://www.amazon.com/V7-RMWC6U-1N-Enclosure-assembled-adjustable/dp/B01K1JJHTO/
You should be buying a rackmount system for this type of work, because the sizes are all standardized at "U"s (I assume it stands for unit but I've never looked). Then you buy rack-mountable equipment. For example, network switch, patch panel, or sliding keyboard tray will usually occupy 1U. A shelf will occupy 1U but you'll want some clearance above it. If you mount a monitor permanently to the face it, that might take-up 7Us. An uninterrupted power supply might take up 1U or 2U. Plan out what you want on the rack and then size accordingly.
You may have noticed that some of the consumer grade stuff you buy has these odd brackets in the box that you don't know what to do with. Those are almost always mounting hardware to attach to a rack-mount.
Also, /r/HomeNetworking is a better sub for this question.
I'm not sure you need to hide it. You can buy a computer lock on amazon for this exact reason. Or maybe you just buy a desk with a locking vertical door. Again, there are a things designed just for this purpose, unfortunately it would cost like $100 for a decent one.
Amazon stuff
If you do end up going with a laptop you should know that most have a little hole in them designed to put a laptop lock in. Those are pretty cheap. They lock onto your desk and your uncle would have to break it to take it at which point you go to your parents and say look at this

Also quick question. Where do they think your old desktop went? Just grew legs and walked off like any normal $3000 desktop?
Here is a link to the Amazon page: https://www.amazon.com/V7-RMWC6U-1N-Enclosure-assembled-adjustable/dp/B01K1JJHTO/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=server+rack&qid=1600969977&sr=8-3
It’s an amazing case, but its extremely shallow.
Oof, few things...
I've personally used that case in a small office setup, it looks like it should fit in that space if you have a couple inches to move things around, but obviously measure. If so, you could route everything in cleanly, and then set the PC on top.
Had to reach out to my friend, but here is the model and amazon link.

V7 RMWC6U-1N 6U Wall Mount Rack... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1JJHTO?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I know it's Sunday but maybe someone will see this.
Does anyone know of Sliding ReadyRails that would fix a shallow server rack?
Buy a server rack cabinet.

For reference, this is the cabinet I bought:

Currently have an 8 port PDU, 24 port GB switch, and a DroboPro I am looking to replace with the FreeNAS box. 1U shelf to put my cable modem on arrives tomorrow. Going to later add a patch panel and hopefully a 2U UPS.
Cabinet is listed as a 6U, but really it's 8 if you have stuff you can put in the top or bottom 1U. The PDU is the bottom 1U. Thinking of putting the UPS in the top 2U. Both are items I don't need the full front access for.
8U
-1U for PDU
-1U for switch
-1U for modem shelf
-1U for patch panel
-2U for UPS
Leaves me 2U. 3U if I move the modem to the top of the outside of the box and remove the shelf. . My wireless router is going to be sitting on top, too.
Rewiring the house as we remodel, going to have at least 12 keystone jacks throughout the house to run to the patch panel. But I digress.
V7 RMWC6U-1N 6U Wall Mount Rack Cabinet Enclosure
$110 on amazon at the time of posting.
They have a couple of sizes and door types so definitely check the description!
I like these V7 networking cabinets. Got a 6u at home (came with casters/wheels), and a couple of 9u's at a non-profit (wall-mounted).
I thought of the UI rack but I also was a little security (very little with those teeny locks) and did not want to spend much money on a rack at this stage - cheap and cheerful and does the trick!

I just found it on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1JJHTO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_7b2aGbWPQHW2S?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
my V7 rack included casters with wheel locks.
fits just perfectly under my desk - https://i.imgur.com/c2IMC5q.jpg
Highly recommend a small wall-mount rack like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1JJHTO/ It will allow you to mount switches and future gear.
It's here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K1JJHTO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_yzZLDbYBBM8WA
The nice thing about this one was it came fully assembled. I'd sell mine too if interested.
How about a 6U wall-mountable rack?
Throw a small UPS inside of it with the server stuff and lock it up. I have my VoIP equipment in one.
