If I need to work, I use one of those tan wraps and lather my wrist/thump up with tiger balm. Yes you will smell like an old person, but idc, it helps so much to numb the pain so I can work. I sit at a desk all day so this works for me. I can keep applying the tiger balm throughout the day.
What someone mentioned below about the brace while you sleep - works. Helps so much on nights when my wrist is throbbing so much that I can't sleep. I grabbed some on amazon for both of my wrists.
