Hmm, yeah if that's important to people it seems on amazon the cost is $32, sort of making this deal less of a deal. Again, only if that's something you'll need.
Edit: /u/NHA_Fever made a great point down below where you can buy gift certificates for NewEgg on Groupon for 10% off. This means you can get $330 of purchasing power for $300, nearly paying for this adapter mount cost. So if this deterred you, perhaps that will help.
Worked out really well and didnt want to do a JB Weld hack job like one of the reviews posted for the monitor on amazon.
Heads up for anyone disappointed with the lack of a VESA mount: You can get a VESA adapter for this monitor off Amazon for $32. It's kind of pricey, but it works well. I've had it with my XG270HU for the last 3 months. It beats gluing a plate to the back of the monitor.
They came in basically brand new. No dead pixel, no scratches. 144hz, 1440p and freesync works as advertise. You can get the VESA adapter for about $30 on Amazon and fix that adjustable stand issue.
I've got an Acer XG270HU and I'd like to get it VESA mounted. Picking up an adapter so I can attach a monitor arm to the base of it but I've got no idea what to pick up for a monitor arm to begin with. Suggestions? Doesn't need to be fancy and I'm in Canada.
I bought one of these ahead of my first build (I use it currently as an external for a MacBook). It's a nice monitor but I think the stand and housing are kind of cheap seeming, though I ended up liking the burnt orange bezel.
I'm thinking about trying out one of VESA mounts.
I've purchased two scratch and dent XG270HU's and one of them was pretty much flawless, there was no sign it had ever been used. Another one had a scratch on the glossy part of the base, that's about it.
Excellent monitors that you can't go wrong with in any way, shape or form EXCEPT no vesa and a very short stand. At this price point saying "Oh it's TN," as a con is like saying a Nissan Versa doesn't handle like a Porsche. Stating it as a spec though is important and still important. This does have a quality TN panel as far as TN goes, the colors are nice and weren't washed out on either one I purchased.
As for the orange, eh, I don't see it as a big deal. I'll upload a small album of my set up changing throughout a year so you can see it just blend in with everything or be apart of the mess. Some of the pictures are from timestamp albums for things I was selling hence the multiple keyboards/mess. Album
There is an adapter to vesa mount it for sale on Amazon, it's $31.99 which is a pretty penny but if you must mount it at least you can. A monitor stand would also get you some more height if you need it.
Looks like a VESA mount adapter is available on Amazon.
I own a different version of ACER monitor and was looking into mounting it somehow and I did find that there are brackets or adapters sold on Amazon that make VESA mounting possible. The one for this monitor:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DAYRXRK/ref=emc_b_5_t

Looks like it is unavailable right now but I'm sure with a little searching you could find it sold somewhere else or by another brand. Haven't tried it yet but the one I was looking at for my pair of ACER R240HY bidx gets good reviews and looks like it works in the pictures people post in the reviews. Downside is they cost about 30 bucks which is crazy because it is just a bracket. I mean the entire VESA mount you can get for that price let alone just a bracket. But I am looking at doing it down the road just to clear up some more desk space and make it look nicer.
I've looked a bit, and the closest I came to that was something branded "HumanCentric" on Amazon. Check it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DAYRXRK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_xuT3CbYPPD3Q4
you can easily get a vesa mount adapter on amazon:

Well, when I bought it I was not as experienced as Im now, so I didnt take into account that it does not have a VESA mount, I would not buy it today.
And about your question, not very much, I found it on amazon, no biggie:

Looks like there is an adapter in the frequently bought section https://i.imgur.com/1mY3DxE.jpg
For my cpu under 100% load with the thermaltake water 3.0 360mm rad they hit 79c right now using mx-4 thermalpaste. With all fans on performance instead of pwm my gpu maintains a nice 71c.
The stand is the vivo duel mount on amazon. Id suggest also ordering a vivo single mount as well as i had to stack the single mount arm on top the duel mount arm to make the monitors the same height.
The adaptor is this:

The mount is this: VIVO Dual LCD LED Monitor Desk... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B009S750LA?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Edit: as for exodus i wanted to. It was the only AAA game i wanted but ive had terrible pains with origin and uplay so i pretty much only use steam. When it hits steam ill pick it up
I bought this and it works fine for me.
Adapter here. Only problem is, the adapter will come down a bit. Hopefully someone can chime in with a pic of one installed.
I mounted mine with JB Kwik Weld, and it's held since last May or so.
I use these: https://www.amazon.com/Mount-Adapter-Monitors-XG270HU-G277HL/dp/B01DAYRXRK
Work perfectly fine. I didn't want to put my own mount on because I'm too afraid I won't get it line up properly across all my monitors.
There's the Vesa mount adapter for Acer monitor:

I don't know how good this is since I don't own one, but from the review. They seems pretty solid.
Oh sorry I didn't see that constraint. You can get a VESA mount adapter for it here: https://www.amazon.com/VESA-Mount-Adapter-Bracket-Monitors/dp/B01DAYRXRK?th=1
