I've not got a Mame setup (Jamma) but I have done a similar thing to everyone else. I replaced the speakers in my cab with something a bit more modern and used a little digital amp to drive them (this one), I also picked up a little subwoofer as well to give it a little more oomph.

One of those cheapy chinese amps are probably the way to go. I recommend a Lepai (tripath one). If you are cool with a soldering iron you can open these amps up and put it a better Opamp for a few $, improves the sound greatly.
