As you point out, you're going to get "no," but I have a turntable with built in speakers I'm planning to upgrade from soon. It isn't horrible, but it is entry-level, although the extra functions (FM radio, CD player, Bluetooth, etc.) are nice if you have a use for those.

Simple question that hopefully has a simple answer! My father got a Victrola 6 in 1 turntable (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NQL8Z16/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.ZAhCb2JNK0QB) awhile ago and my mother wanted to get him some speakers to hook up to it. She bought some little bookshelf speakers (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016P9HJIA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_l4AhCb7WCT97Q) unknowing that the turntable doesn't even support external speakers. You can hook them up via the headphone jack but they won't go super loud and you can't adjust any tone settings. The only hook up in the back is AUX in. Is there any way to hook them up with the RCA cords the speakers came with or is the turntable just not able to have external speakers period? Thanks a bunch!
