They are VideoSecu , found them on amazon very cheap. Thanks! They're JBL 308p Mkii's and these are the stands. The stands are a bit funky with monitors these big on carpeted floor, but they work. I routed them up through the cable holes just because I don't have the space on the sides of the desk for them, and don't have the space to pull the desk out from the wall.
Using a Scartlett 2i2 to interface the speakers with my PC.
The ones I have can tilt. I have mine up high and facing downward towards my ears.

It's not always easy to do, but what you get in return definitely makes it worth it.
This is what I use, I had them behind my monitors (they're a bit too tall really, but they worked). I just changed my entire rig recently and now I need to find another solution myself.
They definitely sound better if you have them positioned correctly. Depending on the speakers (because not all behave the same), it can be a night and day difference. Many speakers are designed specifically to be orientated in that way.
Found them on Amazon. Wanted something low profile and it took a minute to find the specifics that fit the closest.

Yeah I have 530s as well for my mains and they definitely wouldnt work to well wall mounted. For my surrounds I use thesewhich might work for the 530s, might be kinda top heavy though. Id say make your own rear surround stands.
Due to the nature of my job, I'm forced to get hearing tests each year, and wear ear plugs at work. Saves my hearing a bit so I can destroy it at home with my stereo.
My surrounds are the R-14M. Just standard bookshelf speakers. Same tweeter as my towers, woofer is the same material as my towers. Just smaller is all. These are discontinued. Replaced with the ones you asked about. Same woofer, slightly different tweeter. When they were phasing these out, they went on a 1/2 price sale. Made the decision to go with Klipsch and the Reference series REAL easy.
I could move my rear surrounds out from the wall a bit. Never really thought of it. Plenty of room. Might try that when I get time.
These are the stands I bought. I put a rubber pad between the speakers and the sides so as to not scratch them, and to hold them a bit better once I balanced my Atmos on top of them. No hook on the back as I didn't want to screw any holes in my speakers.
Having a lower Atmos speaker like yours might be better for my lower ceiling. But I like the flexibility I have with with separate speakers
Can you rotate your room 90 degrees? Put the back of the couch facing the bar/counter? I had to rotate my room 90 when I got this set up. My old Bose 6.1 system needed the side walls to reflect off of. This system needs to length of the room more.
It's not super pronounced to begin with. More ambient with the occasional stand out spot. Just like an upgraded form of the surround sound we're used to already.
Although I don’t have the LG, for my JBL9.1 I got these stands, and so far I’m quite satisfied. They are cheap, sturdy, height adjustable and allow cable to pass through. Just a little bit on the ugly side, but don’t really care about that.

I think your best option would be to figure out how much you are willing to spend total and put most of that to your speakers first. The speakers you choose will make the most difference in sound quality and you may even find a set that has decent enough bass that you may feel you don't need a sub until you have more money down the road. I hear THESE speaker stands are great for $40.
Once you have your speaker decided upon, pick up a receiver or amp that can power them. There are many great options out there that you can find for cheap that will power most speakers just fine. First check around through your local classifieds or Goodwill for that before looking for a new one. I bought my Sony receiver for $5 at my local Goodwill and it has been working great for the last year I have had it.
If you have any money left after those, pick up a powered sub. From all the reviews I have read online and watched on YouTube, I have never seen subs reviewed more than the ones from Dayton Audio. You can get the Dayton SUB-800 for $100, the SUB-1000 for $120 or the SUB-1200 for $150 on Amazon. The SUB-1200 will give you the most bang for your buck in a living room setup.
VideoSecu stands on Amazon! Not the best, but surprisingly better than I thought I was getting for the price. The cable management might as well be non-existent and if you don’t tighten the mount on top, there’s a risk of the whole thing tipping. Link
These are the stands I'm using. So far these are fine. They're just heavy enough to hold / balance these speakers. I do wish the bottoms were heavier but they're well enough for 20 bucks apiece.
Well satellite speakers are usually tiny sealed jokes that start rolling off at like 200Hz. I would pick even a cheap pair of bookshelf speakers instead. Even $80 Micca MB42X are good enough for surround duty.
https://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Adjustable-Height-Satellite-Speaker/dp/B000VRREPG
Those work fine for pretty much any bookshelf speaker.
Haha Ive gone through velcroing them to the desk, using mounted mouse pads, bought monitor mounts to attach to arm rests on an older chair but didn't work. But finally settled on speaker stands! They work perfectly. I'll post amazon link.
It makes it alot easier to put away because I just move them off to the side when I want my full desk back lol they come with clamps on the sides, but I also used 2sided Velcro on the bottom to make sure the joysticks secure in place

Got them on Amazon. They're okay, nothing special. I use them in my living room too with my Audioengine HD6s. They are hollow so you can route the speaker wires through the stands, but if you have powered speakers (like the A5s), you won't be able to route the power cord through.
Went with the refurbished Yamaha TSR-7850R for $299, because I really wanted eARC (my LG C9 supports it). And found some pretty thin stands for the speakers that shouldn’t take up too much space, and they were only $40: https://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Adjustable-Height-Satellite-Speaker/dp/B000VRREPG
Reviewers noted they were light and top-heavy, but I don’t think that’ll be an issue (no toddlers or pets running around to bump into it). Now just gotta grab some wire and plugs and I’ll be all set.
I have used these stands https://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Adjustable-Height-Satellite-Speaker/dp/B000VRREPG With those speakers.
They can grip the bottom of the speaker very well, so they don't fall off. However as we live in a world of physics, the whole stand can tip over as a unit if pushed. I'd say there's about 6 inches of give in any direction though. Small bumps aren't an issue.
I'm 99% sure I have the same ones as OP:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VRREPG
I do have a complaint: The base for them is not very good and holding the weight of speakers. Especially if they are on carpet. They tend to wobble a lot, so if you have any pets or kids that might bump into them, take that into consideration. Even on hardwood floor, I never really felt confident they wouldn't tip over with a slight nudge.

I wanted to go with the 200c but just couldn't bring myself to spend the money just yet- hoping to go full R series once we have our own place. I dig the speaker stands...was set on building my own but I like these so much I may not do that.

Just got these adjustable ones today. I have them set at 36” currently, but they could go higher. They can be a little finicky getting a perfectly level tilt, but they seem to do the job decently.
$37 (Total for two stands) https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VRREPG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I went with a little more modular route this way nothing is done to my CH sticks and it has padding to not make any scratches
At $37 These are steal and have other purposes. They have pads on floor to make it stick. But if you are on carpet you want put maybe a 2.5lb weight on them or something up you can come up with
EDIT: In picture I noticed they did not show the cushions for the width adjuster. They come with 6(2 extra) so this way when you tighten the clamp you do not damage whatever is on it. I have CH sticks and this has ton more room if you need wider base
These are the ones I bought over two years ago and use with my Andrew Jones Pioneers. They aren’t quite perfect, the speakers didn’t sit perfectly level on their own, but I fixed that with a little bit of fun tack to hold them level. But they were cheap, and I knew what I was getting. Still, I haven’t had an issue with them since getting them.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VRREPG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_hE.7zbGZKM896
Just bought these stands for my 305s.
Should I have any foam between the stand and the speakers?
Also how far do you guys suggest that the speakers be from the wall, corner, and myself when listening. I need to reconfigure my office to best facilitate sound quality.

$40 on amazon. They're like a 7/10. I wouldn't be comfortable putting speakers any bigger on them
These right here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VRREPG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They aren't too bad! They can be a little shaky, but that mainly has to do with the fact that I have carpet under them. I think on hard wood they would be perfect, but even on carpet they're still pretty good.
Hi all, looking for speaker stands to support my JBL LSR308 speakers. Need these to be as inexpensive as possible (would prefer something in the $40-60 range; can't spend over $75). Was looking at these but the reviews made it seem like they were only really fit for smaller bookshelf speakers, so if anyone has another recommendation to make it'd be much appreciated.
For reference, the JBLs weigh 10 lbs each and measure at 16.5" x 10" x 12.1" (H x W x D).
Gonna recommend some speaker stands. These work however they become unstable after elevating ~40 inches. However, you won't need to elevate that much since the speakers just to get the tweeter ear level. not sure what speakers those are, but generally the A2+ is not too good a choice. Would recommend kanto's over them.
Well, not a desk mount, but I'm giving these a try:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VRREPG
I already had some plywood pieces cut for mounting my X-55 to from a previous mount system that no longer works with my setup. They'll now be used as an interface between the x-55 and the stands. I'll be able to move them out of the way as needed, adjust the height and positioning easily if I change desks or get a new chair or anything.
Speaker stands $40 and I would put them on either side of the TV tweeter at ear level or about mid screen. I would pull them out from the wall slightly and as far away from the TV as you can as long as they are equidistant.
I have a pair of A5's and I use these stands, they work fine. The only thing I would change is I would make the base heavier, which could be pretty easily accomplished if you're crafty.
Now I see what you're talking about...man that's a tough setup. Yeah I would almost want to put them on stands just so I could move them out a couple of feet when watching a movie. You would be surprised how much difference that can make on the way a movie sounds.
I know these stands have a fairly small base and should tuck into your little space nicely. getting your speakers up a bit closer to the screen would be good too as the TV is a good bit lower.
You should look at some speaker stands, something similar to this. You can angle them and turn them so they actually point the way they are supposed to!
If the specifications are as they listed. The monoprice stands state 9 lbs. of support, and the Micca speakers are 4 lbs. each.
Think I might take the plunge and buy the two. Thanks for all your help.
[Edit] Ouch, well, maybe I'll keep looking around for speaker stands. The price of shipping for the Monoprice are almost the same price as the stands themselves.
[Edit 2] Maybe these.
I don't see anything wrong with that setup. As a matter of fact it should blow those computer speakers away without much effort. My only suggestion to you is to get some speaker stands for the Micca's so they are at the proper height.
Thank you!
The speakers are a pair of Presonus Eris E4.5 Studio Monitors: https://ebay.us/dlTQGa and the stands are a pair I found on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VRREPG/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_T.tiCbA2QJE2E.
I also Have a Presonus AudioBox USB interface: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OX0X2JE/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_eduiCb46SWN2Q and a Presonus Temblor T10 subwoofer: https://ebay.us/72D6tz.
I have my computer plugged into the interface, the interface plugged into the subwoofer, and the subwoofer plugged into the speakers.
Got them off amazon

Here you go!
Don't overthink it. I've got these and they work fine.
So if you're itching to mount them on something, I got a speaker stand and added a weight to hold them down. Don't do what I did and try to screw them on. Velcro works just fine.

and just add a weight.
Stands I had until I moved the speakers to the desk. Worked well.

I'd say use stands if you don't have a higher surface to place them on that isn't the same surface as your turntable.
Unfortunately a lot of cheap stands are ugly. These were the best ones on Amazon I found that don't have awful reviews; they're sold out from Amazon but they were $40 shipped with Amazon Prime when I bought them a while ago. They're adjustable, grip the sides of the speakers and seem sturdy enough. Kinda ugly though. Most of the solid-post-type stands on Amazon seemed to get bad reviews about dents and build quality or were more expensive.
Another option is DIY - looking online you see a lot of setups using post-style stands, but if you don't need a lot of height I think the hairpin leg style looks nicer. I loved these on reddit
Those Amazon stands seem to be for small 3" to 4" driver satellite surround sound speakers.
I wish IKEA still make the hairpin leg. I have a table with them.
The tv stand of the bookshelves?
The tv stand is an insignia tv stand from Bestbuy that’s rated for only a 55 inch but it’s rated for up to 115 lb and fits for the mounting holes on newer TVs. The speaker stands are from Amazon. Pretty cheap and very adjustable.
Thanks! Yeah I have some gap so the speakers don't get in the way of rising my desk. I don't adjust the speaker stand, it can be done though. I have it at around 37", these are the stands: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VRREPG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They are decent! I think they were made to hold lighter speakers as I feared for my heavy audio engine speakers. I made them more stable by screwing them into two of those round plywood circles you can buy at the Lowes pre-cut wood section. I think they are made for tables. I was able to unscrew the feet and put a wood screw straight though them.
It's these but I'm not sure I would recommend them. Them seem a little flimsy. I do see a stand upgrade in my future. I shoulda just spent more once 🙄

I'm glad to read that you got the speakers on your desk. The KEFs are very forgiving in their placement but they aren't that good (at your feet). If it were me I would get some stands and a shelf or something for your receiver, xbox and TT. Here are somethings you can look at.
Stands: There are several here a few
Audio stand: Again you don't need anything special but something like this would work well and not be too expensive.
Thanks!
VideoSecu Heavy Duty Stands. Found a pair on Craiglist actually.
I have used these speaker stands and I like them just fine.

Looks like these:
here Well i just zip tied them at certain places of the mounts and ran it down the mount and behind the monitors
I just purchased a pair of speaker stands and will use one to hold the center above the TV.
My Pioneer BS22-LR is 9lbs and sits perfectly on top of it. The stand can support up to 30lbs and can extend height from 26.5" to 47".
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VRREPG/
They work reasonable well, but the tops can be hard to get at the same angle and ideally, a stand should be solid - these are not really unstable, but they are light and won't absorb resonance.
thank you buddy
they are on standing mounts. smthin like this:
I don't have these yet, but I was gonna order them soon.

much better
Me and CtFrommn are on the same page. If you're going for a non computer setup (TV, sources, sitting away from the speakers) then you'll want an AVR. Don't try to mini amp some speakers especially some Micca's for a medium room. While they will get decently loud with an SA-50 you won't get the experience you want. Even if you have analog audio outputs on your TV they may not be variable. That means you'll have to adjust volume with the knob. That's a deal breaker. You'll also not have tone controls, a sub out, and digital sources.
You're going to be better off just getting an AVR, refurbed to save money as a new one will kill the whole budget and some speakers. You could even do Micca's just don't expect a super low end with them alone. Here is what I would look at.
AVR - Denon S510BT refurb $180
Speakers - Micca's will do fine.
MISC - You'll probably want to get some speaker stands $40, wire, and cables to connect you stuff. The stands will help you get the speakers to the correct height and away from the wall. This will help you get the best sound out of them.
I ordered these from amazon a month ago and they work great.
Bought them off Amazon! Link
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VRREPG This one. Not too stable, will work great, if you place it behind desk.
Well what you need is a dac + speaker amp (what I was talking about before is a dac + headphone amp), and the dac needs to take either SPDIF or HDMI. The cheapest way to go is a used home theater reciever on craigslist. They go for a song, especially older ones without HDMI. For example 2 seconds of searching I found this locally for under $40. Otherwise you're looking at $50 for amp by itself, then $30 for the dac. More if you want to be able to switch sources without manually unplugging and plugging in cables. After that I think adjustable speaker stands like these are required, unless you find nonadjustable ones that are the perfect height (or you plan on putting them on a desk). Speaker cables and SPDIF cables are a necessity too, banana plugs make life easier but are not necessary.
After that it's just a matter of finding good speakers. I hear the Micaa MB42x are good, so are the Fluance bookshelf. I don't actually know since I've never heard them, only going of what Zeos and others have said.
Does anyone have these and/or know if they can work with Pioneer SP-BS22 bookshelf speakers?

Those look really minimal and sleak plus they're like a third the price of the other ones. The reviews look good too.
I would give these stands a try. They should do nicely for those speakers.
Looks great, I dig the plant. I have the same audio interface and monitor. You can get speaker stands on Amazon for $40.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VRREPG
They're decent for the price. I've got 2 sets of them actually. My rear channel speakers are up on them too (not pictured).
I would get different speaker stands that grip the side of the speaker.
Had a pair of Philips Fidelio X1, heard they were amazing so I bought a pair for 220$ and they were very blah. So I sold them on eBay and I decided to treat myself to sound System upgrade instead of dropping another 200+ on cans. I have had a pair of creative 2.1 speakers and they sound awesome but I know for a few 100$ I can get some pretty next level speakers here's what I plan on upgrading to:
Problem is my room is really damn tiny 9x10feet Here is a pic of my station Tell me if there is room for improvement That's all, cheers!
Very true. Actually ordered these guys earlier today.
You want to keep the three speakers from the same series or like I have recommended the same speaker. You don't want to mix and match. These speakers are from the same manufacturer but different series. One has horn tweeters and one has dome...you shouldn't ever mix tweeter types. It's either all horn or all dome.
How should you arrange your speakers is very location specific. I really like the use of stands for bookshelf speakers your going to put in the front. If you don't have the TV on a stand or wall mounted they how about a center channel shelf?
Can't speak from experience, but I was looking at those on amazon today and one of the reviews recommended these which are $40 if you have Prime.
