I want to second the desk mounted monitor arm. My vision changes from day to day and it's great that I can move it closer and farther away as needed. Also it is easy to mount as long as you have access to the back of the desk (like no wall in the way) and there either is a lip around the desk (so, the back panel of the desk isn't flush with the back edge of the desk top). At least that's for the kinds of clamping systems I've seen.

There are even arms that branch out to support two monitors from a single clamp. Great if you have the paper you are writing open on one screen and the research material on the other :)

It’s pretty sturdy so far and it has nice cable management covers.

are your monitor arms rigid mounts, where you have to release tension to adjust? mine wobbled like crazy (different desk) but then I got gas spring mounts and the problem was completely fixed because the springs absorb all the shaking rather than the monitors

I got one of those from fleximount on amazon although I cant find any at the moment. But they are very similar to Viozons version of them(amazon).

I have one ultrawide and another regular one on the bottom. I'd say it could hold 2 ultrawide monitors at the same time no problem.

If your laptop can run it... you can always have two displays open. I only have a laptop and run the game on my monitor and discord open on my laptop. Look into a monitor and laptop mount they can help with clearing clutter and free up space.
