Check out ViparSpectra. Cheaper than that one and quality build

I'm currently growing 5 plants (4 peppers, 1 weed) under the bigger brother of this guy, which would work well for 1-2 pepper plants as long as you have a way to adjust the hanging height over your plants as they grow:

Find yourself a decent cheap light and a cheap tent (unless you can dedicate a full bedroom or closet). Then you just need a pot and some soil.
If you need to hide smell, your cost will go up considerably for an in-line fan and a carbon filter.

Thanks for the info! I just want to say the pairs of ghosts were bought separately. The little guys are from Home Depot from two weeks ago, and the tall bois with pods are from my local nursery once I knew they were for sure Ghosts, and I got them last week.
My current setup is the ViparSpectra XS-1000 inside a Mars Hydro 24" x 48" x 70" with an AC Infinity 4" duct fan pulling air from the bottom and out the top right. Should I maybe open the back mesh for even more airflow?
If you are looking for a gift idea, I recommend this light https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08S7H6D48/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01 . I have two and really like them. It seems I overpaid, as it is now $89, that's $30 cheaper than they charged me.
You can't go wrong buying good lights. If you want a cheaper gift idea, Masterblend fertilizer is great too.
I own this light and just bought the XS1000 (latest version) to pair with it in a 2x4. Great lights.
Ok. LOL. If you're trying to grow food indoors, you need something like this, absolute minimum. That tomato rig is the funniest joke 0win's ever told. Who's out there thinking he's gonna get tomatoes from that setup?
Sure am! I grow my Nepenthes indoors in a grow tent. When I first started (and had less plants) I was using VIPARSPECTRA XS1000 at 100% power hanging around 25-26" above all my plants, but since the 26th or so of November I've reformatted my collection and now my Nepenthes have their own little shelf where they're lit by a Barrina 24W T8 hanging roughly 8" above. The newer leaves are a far less impressive red but the plant itself still seems very happy. Also, I have the light on the 13 hours a day on a timer, but I'm thinking of increasing it to 14. Additionally, I've started fertilizing my Nepenthes this month with fish emulsion according to this post and they seem to be enjoying it over the Maxsea solution I was using.
Viparspectra XS1000 is $80 on Amazon right now.
I've got these for my 2x2's. Love 'em
