As I entered my comment, I realized you had a ultra wide monitor. Sadly, I can not recommend one based on personal experience. This one says it’s for up to a43 inch display (from US Amazon).
Yup, it is this relatively basic one I got off Amazon, but it gets the job done. Tilt mechanism can't fully handle the weight of the G9, but it's easy enough to lock it's angle and I don't plan on changing it. The other one is an even more basic one on a long pole mount, don't remember exactly which.
Ordered the monitor arm used for CA$100, condition said "Good" but it honestly looks brand new. Happy with the purchase over an ergotron! I don't plan on moving the monitor with full articulating motion, just a simple swivel to reach for cable inputs and does so smooth.
The VESA mount is a custom job, I drilled 4 holes at 300x300mm in an old computer case door. Bought screws locally the right length (1.25"), super solid.
I have this one and it works really well even though you don't have that extra point of articulation compared to the ergotron. Still heavy-duty enough for the G9 for a third of the price.
I know the $300 monitor arm is the recommended arm for the G9, but I got the https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LLHF91L?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details for mine and it has worked flawlessly. 1/3rd the price and it's insanely stable over my desk.
I’ve got my ASUS PG42UQs mounted with this Vivo arm. The ASUS is heavier than the C2 so should work for both. You need to buy an additional VESA kit to use the arm fyi

I am using the VIVO monitor arm it does a great job for the price it’s not great for moving around and tilting but once I adjust to where I want it I usually don’t touch it. I also had to get a mounting adapter plate from mount it.

Seems like the consensus is that you need the Ergotron HX with the heavy duty pivot for the G9. Its pretty expensive, I'm currently using this one which people have used with the G9 but the pivot needs to be tightened completely, if you need your monitor to pivot your kind of stuck with the HX + Heavy duty pivot.
I was looking too but only found this..
VIVO apparently makes one.. I've not tested..
VIVO Aluminum Single Ultrawide Monitor
Fits Ultra Wide Screens - Single monitor mount fitting most screens 17” to 43” in size (also fits up to 49” ultrawide computer monitors) and up to 39.6 lbs in weight with VESA 75x75mm, 100x100mm, or 200x100mm (adapter provided) hole patterns. Secures to your desk (up to 3.3” thick) with heavy duty C-clamp or optional grommet mount.
This changed my setup. The UW stands are massive. VIVO 17 to 43 inch Aluminum Single Ultrawide Monitor Articulating Pneumatic Arm Mount, Clamp-on Desk Stand, Fits 1 Screen with Max VESA 200x100, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LLHF91L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_qYY8nODSdiOef
VIVO premium arm mount is great, holds my 32lbs ASUS PG42UQ elevated.
been using the Vivo one i bought at Walmart for 2 years now on my IKEA table and no issues lol.
I think its $96 at amazon also:
I didn't - I checked and while the arm itself would hold the weight, the actual monitor pivot was reported to not be up to the moment arm for the curve. Basically the curve adds enough leverage that the monitor would droop.
I did take a chance on a https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LLHF91L and it took a bit to get the pivot tight enough to hold, but it's working OK. It won't go back past 90 degrees (I was hoping I could have it push a bit beyond the back edge of my desk) but for the price I can't complain. At some point in the future I may upgrade to the Ergotron as it looks like it's a much better arm, but I would hope it would be for 4x the price.
This one for the ultrawide. It's super sturdy.

Quite a few people asked for info on the parts I used to put this setup together. Figured I'd make a list, minus my computer of choice, and paste it around just in case someone wants to snag a similar part.

One of my problems is looking for products that ship to Mexico and are not that expensive. So the monitor comes from a Mexican Company, is a 34” 3440x1440 100hz monitor: https://www.gamefactor.mx/en/details/51/mg800. And the monitor arm was hard to find due the weight of the monitor (27.5 lb, is a VIVO monitor arm: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LLHF91L/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_3D5FSA016EAJMPHX8JRX
