I have a Karlby. Recently bought a new Alienware 27" monitor, and finally decided to buy mounts for it and my other two monitors.

These work great. A little stiff on the adjustments, but nbd. Just watch the weight limits. My Alienware is coming up close to it ha.

42" may be pushing it as manufacturer suggests a max of 27" and no more than 14 lbs, although I currently have a 36" mounted and its very sturdy.
