I got something similar to this a few years ago.
Yeah. You can get one for 16$ on Amazon. Link Here It's adjustable and has wheels to easily move around.
If you're wanting to save money you can just get a block of wood or small table to put your pc on top of.
Doesn’t sound like you would have any issues with the controls. You would probably just have to configure all the controls in the emulator settings. The Xbox one controllers don’t need to be paired to the ALU to work with the emulator. I would connect them to the computer.
If you need your pc displayed on your tv, you will need to move your pc near wherever your tv is. You could get a computer cart so that it’s easier to move around if everything is on the same floor.
Something like this
I would get one with sides so the case is not so easy to tip, Ikea has one for 30, or amazon for 20
VIVO Computer Tower Desktop ATX-Case, CPU Steel Rolling Stand, Adjustable Mobile Cart Holder with Locking Caster Wheels, Black, CART-PC01
I don't live in those dorms, but for my saltwater dorm my PC technically fit, but felt squishy. So I bought this metal pc stand with wheels. I can't find the exact one I bought anymore, but it looked like this - https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Computer-Desktop-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?crid=1HC07BU6C6CCR&keywords=pc+holder&qid=1659677098&refinements=p_85%3A5690392011&rnid=5690384011&rps=1&sprefix=pc+holder%2Caps...
This way I'm able to keep my PC under the desk on the carpet.
I got mine from a school that didn't need a mobile desktop anymore and I can't find the exact model I have but this is one similar https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Computer-ATX-Case-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW/ I don't see any labels or numbers that would tell me the model name is either.
If that’s just chilling on the carpet, I recommend something like this - VIVO Computer Tower Desktop ATX-Case, CPU Steel Rolling Stand, Adjustable Mobile Cart Holder with Locking Caster Wheels, Black, CART-PC01 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_gl_i_P1E9MY8F5EM91THYKJYE
Lay a RSV-L4412U on its side and put it on one or two of these: VIVO Computer Tower Desktop ATX-Case, CPU Steel Rolling Stand, Adjustable Mobile Cart Holder with Locking Caster Wheels, Black, CART-PC01 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_KGF86FTF9A748VK6NMS6
No dont. I did that with mine for 3 4 years and when i cleaned the inside the vents and openings and inside fans were full of dustt. Cuz youre gonna clean your carpet im assuming and it just doesnt sit well. If you dont have a space on the desk then buy this for the floor https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Computer-ATX-Case-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW
While your computer looks nice on the desk, moving it to the floor would free up a lot of space for mouse movement. I use a little cart like this just to keep it from sitting directly on the ground.
Something like this will probably work just fine. Of course, that's assuming you have an average size case. If you're using something like a Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic or a full tower, that might not work.
You can also install a nice sturdy shelf and have the PC sit on your wall. Just try to place it somewhere where it won't be too much of a hassle to take down in case you ever need to do any maintenance on the actual machine.
Great idea, that's what I'll do if this thing I found doesn't work out. Check this out. The wheels come off so I think I'll screw through the wheel holes and into the desk. There are tiny little stands so if the stands on the bottom of this holder are shorter than the tower's stands it should work. Will be held on both sides and still rest on it's original stands.
They sell little PC stands that will keep it about 3 inches off the floor and has room underneath for airflow. I would recommend getting one of these instead of just leaving your beautiful new PC on the ground, don't you think it deserves better?
Unless your floor is carpeted, it is fine to leave your case on a hardwood floor. If it is carpeted, you can always buy a wooden plank or some 4x4s.
For cart-form, I found this: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Computer-ATX-Case-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=pc+platform&qid=1608181459&sr=8-5
A few small 2x4 sections, some cheap wheels, and a piece of mdf/plywood. You can make a rolling cart. Cut 3 1" wide strips on top so the case won't slide off. If you don't have scrap wood. They make a lot of cheap metal ones like this one for $22: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_tdvpFbKMP98XJ
Don't worry about static, only thing is dust & liquid.
Get a trolley will be easy for maintenance and movement.
You need like a tray at least or something to prop it up. So its not sucking up all your carpet dust and your power supply is down at the bottom sucking all that bad shit. It’s gonna be a lot of cleaning. There is trays you can order off amazon for like 15-20 bucks
Edit: Something like this
VIVO Black Computer Tower Desktop ATX-Case, CPU Steel Rolling Stand, Adjustable Mobile Cart Holder with Locking Caster Wheels (CART-PC01) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_tz3xFbS08CJK2
I have this cart that i bought for my pc so it would stay off the ground : https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B074P76TBW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
but it haven't used it cause i want to see my glass window pane on the side :(
I use the vivo cpu cart, it is low profile, can be rolled if needed, and is pretty easy to install. Also it doesn't raise your computer too high off the ground, so I don't even remember that I have the computer on it. Here's the link.
maybe something like this?
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Computer-ATX-Case-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_3
You don't have the desk space. On the floor
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Computer-ATX-Case-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW/
if you really want to they make hardwood carts to put pcs on under your desk so no dust intake, it could really add a lot of space (especially for that xbox over the edge)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_LVeyFbFERG3YW
It's an amazon product. Can be found here
>but I can’t seem to make it even look decent, without putting my pc on the floor
No, you can't.
So the way I see it you have a few options:

Of course your PC is important, and you want to take care of it, but the tower doesn't need to be in your face all the time. I certainly wouldn't commit 25% of my desk space to it.
Something like this is nice because of the wheels.
They're called PC stands or PC carts. One example is this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW
There are multiple different PC stands at Amazon. I got this one for $20.00: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_85Y4BPA3VPJ7KJ5EY9F5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I cannot recommend a wheeled stand enough, like this one

Honestly, I kinda doubt this is any better than a wooden board, but PC tower stands do exist:
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Computer-ATX-Case-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW/
Just get something like this!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_fabc_GRCRWQ8VJVBVDJCX4M21
For the tower, will this work?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074P76TBW/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
To keep your tower off the floor you can also just get a caddy. Much easier and cheaper. And it rolls for when you need to clean it or get to the back.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074P76TBW/
As long as there's no fans on the bottom, sure. Personally, I grabbed this from Amazon and it works great - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074P76TBW/
Not on carpet but I got something like this to keep the PC off the floor and give some clearance for the psu intake https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Computer-Desktop-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=sr_1_7?crid=TPFENUGBLKCN&dchild=1&keywords=pc+stand+under+desk&qid=1609264927&sprefix=pc+stand+%2Caps%2C166&sr=8-7
I use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074P76TBW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for when I put it on the floor. Easy to move and keeps some of the dust out of it.
Call the Bishop, these prices are sinful.

Or just get one of these. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9SLmFbBAY7PZS
If you still end up having to put it under your desk, I would recommend buying something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_R5K7DbVCJ0CET
You should probably get a stand to put your PC on it. It can suck up too much dust and that can harm your computer.
I recommend this: https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Computer-Desktop-Adjustable-CART-PC01/dp/B074P76TBW/ref=sr_1_14?keywords=computer+stand&qid=1564690485&s=gateway&sr=8-14
You could get a small stand (or mounting bracket) to get your tower off the floor. Depending on where your fans are, it could help keep it cooler than sitting on that carpet.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074P76TBW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here is another one with sides if you are afraid of it falling over. I mean it's not ideal, but it beats buying a new entertainment center just for the PS5.
