I can try and figure it out but it was a really cheap laptop/monitor vesa stand from Amazon. I just didn’t use the monitor part of it. It has surprisingly good build quality and saves a lot of desk space.
found it: https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Adjustable-Computer-Monitor-STAND-V002C/dp/B00FOTABWY/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=laptop+mount&qid=1622217198&sr=8-6
I got it on sale, and they're all dropshipped so you might be able to find a seller with a good sale at some point
Here To be honest, it's not so great, but the quality is acceptable for the price.
Right here sir
VIVO Black Fully Adjustable 13 to 32 inch Single Computer Monitor and Laptop Desk Mount Combo, Stand with Grommet Option, Fits up to 17 inch Laptops STAND-V002C https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FOTABWY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GJ2803PCE8JFJG2VMRRH
Hello would this work just as well?
I bought the VIVO 13-32” monitor and laptop mount combo
Are there dual stands for that? wow this looks really cool
I will check them out, I was thinking of getting one more monitor.
Thanks, I did not feel it was cluttered until I checked out other setups on reddit and they feel so uncluttered it is amazing.
The VIVO mount arms come with the bracket for edge or grommet mount. I’ve purchased two different mounts from them, they are nice and easy to put together. For the grommet mount, you don’t need a full size desk grommet hole either. I’m not at home right now, or I would tell you exactly how small the hole can be.
I just bought this off a recommendation from another thread. Let me see if I can find the thread, the guy had photos and everything and has had this set up for 2+ years with out issue.

I have the pole to the right near where one of the under desk frame pieces makes a T.
I then switched the monitor and laptop arms, so the monitor is in the center of the desk with the long arm.

It's excellent! I printed out a VESA mount for my tablet to attach to the second arm on the stand. I use it as my TouchUI device for OctoPrint, rather than the tiny 3.5" LCD I was using on my Pi.
I got this mount and putting the arm at the highest point gets me the perfect height. The laptop arm also raises the laptop to a usable height as well.
I also have another shelf built from IKEA short legs and shelf that can be used a riser/shelf for the monitor.
So the Laptop Stand itself is called the “VIVO adjustable 11-17 inch Laptop Holder”. But I managed to fit my cooling pad on the VIVO laptop holder comfortably with some tweaking so that the laptop is fully elevated and still also getting additional airflow from the cooling pad. When I bought the Monitor arm and stand, at the time VIVO was sold out of the “bundle” so I had to buy an extra arm separate and the stand separate, I’ll link the “bundle” however I think my stand setup offers way better airflow and takes up less desk space.
“Bundle” That was Sold out for Me:

It's actually sitting on a VIVO tray: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FOTABWY, attached to an Ikea adjustable leg (I think the black "Olov"???) using clamps: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0753YM3VX.
The keyboard tray I made myself using bidirectional Accuride slide rails https://www.accuride.com/c0363-light-duty-two-way-travel-slide on a long flat shelf board I found in the broken/cheap section of Ikea, supported by cheap curtain rods, wooden dowels and misc clamps. All of this built using a Fully Jarvis standing desk frame (https://www.fully.com/standing-desks/jarvis/jarvis-frame-only.html) and a 72" tabletop from OfficeDepot.
My next upgrade for this desk will be to replace the MIDI controller tray and build something a bit more efficient and custom-made to support the controller.
thanks thats helpful. I think i may get these and a proper arm and find a good way to set it up. right now i have this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FOTABWY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which works but could be a LOT better/more movable
I was looking at this combination laptop and monitor stand
I just put this one on my desk yesterday. I like it a lot so far and it's holding my 32" monitor and my laptop just fine.
I just bought this off of a Recommendation from another redditor. Let me see if I can find the phots he shared
I have. https://imgur.com/a/3v36UwH/

I switched the arms in that the "long arm" is meant to be used for the laptop mount, but I used it for the monitor instead.
As for mounting it, under the desk are a series of supports for the desk frame, so I made sure to line up the bottom part of the mount there.
Not OP, but I use a very similar one.
CLEAN setup but I would personally buy a couple of cable ties and cable tie mounts to organize the cable clutter. Also, you can get a cheap monitor/laptop dock on amazon to have more space. But otherwise, the setup has a lot of potential!
Here is the link to the arm I bought
Yeah this stand is great, I strongly recommend it.
Maybe this one or the standing version, and then add another monitor arm: http://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Notebook-Monitor-Adjustable-STAND-V002C/dp/B00FOTABWY
It is this one!
I love it so far as it is sturdy and comes with dual monitor setup option as well if you need it.
