I use arms with an Ikea Jerker, though that isn't a great comparison. The Malm is hollow honeycomb, which is generally fine, though a heavy pair of monitors putting all their weight on one spot might eventually snap the desk. Two single arm mounts would move the weight around a bit and might help. There's honestly very little reason to use a dual-screen mount over two singles anyways.
If you're open to other desks, consider a Bekant. They're solid particle board instead of honeycomb. If you want to be a badass at ikea, slap some legs on a countertop.
For arms, look around for some non amazon basics ones for less money. Search for gas lift and you'll find a bunch for way less that are just as good. I use Vivo ones myself.
This is what I have so that I can swing my monitor over my bed when my back is acting up and I cant get out of bed and it works, just wish it had more reach. It is definitely worth it.
I really love gas spring monitor mounts. Unlike most other mounts, it is so much easier to adjust the height of the monitor and position it exactly the way you want it. It's also easy to swing it out of the way when you don't need it. This particular one is nice because you can either mount it behind your desk or onto a hole in your desk:

My wobbly monitor arm is driving me crazy. I have the Humansolution UPLIFT monitor arm and a Vivo monitor arm http://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Single-Monitor-Desktop-STAND-V001B/dp/B00EQ7HTG6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00
Both are driving me crazy because the monitor wobbles slightly as a type. I even bought a extended mouse pad to reduce the wobble, which only helped slightly. Due to my setup, I cannot wall mount it. The wobble for both monitor arm is because there is a good amount of 'give' on the arm. A slight touch to the monitor causes it to shake with the "dive board" effect. I type and code quite a lot and the constant subtle shaking is driving me nuts. I'd happily paid more for something stable. Would appreciate any advice on a better, more solid arm.
I'm using 4 of these The setup I had before the couple you've seen were a pairing of duo mounts and this time I decided to get an independent system for each monitor because they're super easy to adjust if you want to for any reason. I swap mine to mix it up and as an enthusiast of that stuff in general it's just fun to do.
For $30 it was a good deal, and for $35 its still a fairly good deal. The closest one I see on amazon is this VIVO for $50.
Link to Monitor Mounts The price is now $35 + FS.
I ordered this monitor mounts on January 26. And It arrived one week later.
I have just assembled it and I can say for a Day 1 product. It seems amazing. It is currently holding my LG 34UM65-P Ultrawide Monitor Basic dimensions are 15.00" x 32.70" x 3.30" w/o Stand and 13.9 lbs. w/o Stand. I was really hoping it would work with this monitor. And it did. The only thing it won't do is rotate it to portrait mode. The raise arm is too short.

Cons:
I will continue to update if anything goes wrong with it.
