Ordered the mounts you suggested here: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-STAND-V003/dp/B009S7ALH8
How did you build the bracket exactly? I have the DXRacer King Series chair. Would be nice to play away from my desk with the controls at proper height finally.
EDIT: Just saw you had a local welder do it. Would you be able to get it duplicated and send to me? Will pay for shipping and cost of welding of course.
I was suspect that they would be sturdy for this price but they really are. My screens measure about 24" across including the bezel. I think they are 22" screens??
The top screen is adjustable vertically (only a small amount) but it's still just a little bit off. Not horrible, but it's there.
Good luck duuuude!

If you put a monitor on the cubby and angle them in, you can fit three 24" monitors. I ran two Dell E2414HM's on the sides and an S2415H in the center, all on their regular stands (though I eventually cut a whole in the back to fit a triple monitor stand).
It's surprisingly not that wobbly. YMMV because it's still a snap-together desk, but shakiness has never been an issue with mine.
Depends on what type you want, and what your space affords. The straight metal bar style usually runs cheapest and keeps the monitors closest to level, but takes up a ton of space.
I have this Vivo triple monitor mount and it's worked out nicely. It doesn't keep the monitors exactly in line (I have 2x24" on the sides and a 23" in the center), but close enough for my liking.
Thanks! I'm using this one here, it's a pretty good stand but there's a slight sag on the outer monitors when I'm in LLL and you can only move the center monitor up and down but not the outer ones :/
Funny enough, one of the cheaper ones on Amazon. But I love it.

Here is the 3 screen mount I have, quite pleased.

My 4th Screen is mounted above the 3 wide array and angled down a few degrees. I keep email, chat and sysmon on it. I use this extra height mount for it.

My monitors aren't straight right now as I am doing maintenance on my messy Battlestation. Don't Judge me too harshly...

VIVO Triple LCD Monitor Desk Mount Stand Heavy Duty Fully Adjustable fits 3 /Three Screens up to 24" (STAND-V003) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B009S7ALH8?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Howdy and welcome to Tejas. I've got a similar sounding setup except I use a hotas instead of a yoke. For the monitors I have this which works like a charm and clears up a ton of desk space. For the actual desk, call me crazy but IKEA. I've got a 4'x29" piece for the big bit and a 22"x6' piece to make the 'L', you can see my setup in this pic.
Now for the sliding do-dad. Im thinking use tracks from a drawer underneath the desk and mount the yoke to the sliding carrige. you should be able to just slide it back and forth pretty easy, maybe put some sort of latch or something so it doesn't slide in flight. Having a flat desktop is fantastic, mounting things underneath is a breeze. be wary though if you do get a cheap desk they are typically a corrigated desktop and arent great with pressure points so if you do mount anything to the desk make sure to reinforce it.
$35 on massdrop is actually a decent deal, currently $58 on Prime
You can get a stationery monitor mount, which allows you to pull the screen closer, tilt, and rotate, but doesn't allow individual height adjustment for each monitor such as this.
Or you can get three individual mounts, which allow full mobility (up, down, closer, farther, & rotate) such as this.
There's double/triple versions of these as well. Double. Or Triple.
Good brands include: Ergotron, Ergrotech, VIVO, & Amazon's version. Mount-It and Cable Matters both make some as well, but I haven't used these ever.
This is the mount I bought - I used to have a triple monitor setup but when I moved to a 34'' UltraWide I ripped the left and right arms off and now am using them for the Hotas.

Edit: Looks like that mount above is no longer available - this one would probably work as well -but I dont own it so I can be 100% sure on the length of the arms: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-STAND-V002/dp/B009S750LA/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1475257585&sr=1-6&keywords=vivo+desk+mount
It's this one with 3x Dell 2007fp's (20" 4:3 1600x1200)
Cheapest monitor stand I could find, works well.
Cheapest I could find, http://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-STAND-V003/dp/B009S7ALH8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1450884946&sr=8-2&keywords=3+monitor+stand I used to use it with 3 monitors, currently with 2.
This is the one I bought off Amazon.
Probably this one, I couldn't buy it straight from amazon but someone sells similar ones in Poland.
This one the other single one I modified and added onto it so I could get the widescreen monitor higher.
They are mounted. This one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009S7ALH8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and a single version of the same. Had to mod the single one to go higher though
If you have 3 monitors and a tough desk, look at getting a monitor mount for them. The one I've got is built like a tank, and I just mounted my scissor arm on that. If you do not have a shock mount, that motherf***er will pick up every mouseclick and keystroke like you were hitting the mic with a hammer. These are the parts I'm using: Monitor mount: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009S7ALH8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Scissor arm mic mount: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OCH4JAE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You'll need a 3/8 inch female to 5/8 inch male screw adapter because the arm has a 3/8 inch screw and the Yeti needs a 5/8 inch.
