You don't need to have a mount. You can get one that has a single stand that works perfectly.
I live in Canada but I bought tTHIS ONE on Amazon. Works like a charm.
Vivo mounts on amazon are a great value. I purchased a vertical mount for 2 ultrawide and it is very sturdy. I was skeptical about it because of the price but I have had no issues at all. This is close to what I bought but horizontal https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00C5H5DN0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_zBAeAbN7VA6B0
u/marziazzz had it right. I was talking about something like this off Amazon. There are even some other ones with better arms so you could swivel your monitors 360 degrees or so.
Also, I was talking about your JDS digital audio converter and whatnot. I just clicked through to Imgur and saw your descriptions!
Have you checked this one on Amazon? I haven't used one and am still waiting on buying another 24" monitor to use a clamped VESA mount to my desk.
Only thing is that it's a desk mount, not standing. Apologies if this was a pointless response for you.
It looks really sweet. I actually have this one
And there is a version that clamps onto the desk, if you wanted something good that isn’t expensive.
Looking at the reviews though I’d suggest getting the amazon one.
Not a clamp, but this brand might have a clamp you need, so recommending the brand , as I used this dual monitor stand for almost two year while wfh before I went with one 49” ultrawide.
I don't know if it will work in your case, but back home I bought a desktop stand (no clamping/making a hole) that I offset to the side and that keeps the main (front) monitor maybe 2" away from the wall (the arm is flush on the wall, and basically straight... and the monitor flush on it).
I have the other ~30^^o on the left, so that has some space behind it, but yeah~
Hey thanks! Here is a link to the stand

I have the one that has a base so it’s not the clamp kind. It has been good for me so so far.
Unless you drill a circular hole for a grommet mount, you might be SoL with that desk.
Otherwise, there are ones on Amazon that have a large surface area base that you can just set on the top of the desk, an example being (NOT an endorsement!):https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Standing-Bolt-through-Adjustable-STAND-V002F/dp/B00C5H5DN0
I don't know anything about the apartment's desk but I've ran into similar dilemma before and I went with a monitor stand like this instead: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5H5DN0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It takes up a little bit space but with this you won't have to worry about breaking the desk
Not sure if you have the ability to clamp a stand on your desk, but if not you can just put this on the desk top and it works just as well
Probably. I’ve used the Vivo ones with 2x27inch monitors. I imagine the desk clamp is better because these that I have want to tip forward if the monitors are too far ahead of it.
I used this dual monitor stand :)

Wow sounds like a solid desk!
Looks like the same company makes a version with a stand: VIVO Dual LED LCD Monitor Free-Standing Desk Stand for 2 Screens up to 27 inches, Heavy-Duty Fully Adjustable Arms with Max VESA 100x100mm STAND-V002F https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C5H5DN0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_NjR2FbZ5GAZPY
$37 for a dual monitor stand. Works great.

Even my husband's one-monitor mount clamp ended up crushing the desk top after a few months and just not being great. You could use something like this. The way that I got around it was to go with a more solid desktop. If it's in your budget, and you have your mind set on getting an arm with a clamp, go with a more solid desk top. The Ikea Karlby is a staple on battlestations, but you can pick up similar items from a local Lowes or Home Depot, or similar store, depending on the aesthetic you're looking for.
VIVO monitor mounts are very affordable and sturdy. I used this exact one for my old dual monitor setup with a main 24" monitor and a 29" ultrawide monitor as a vertical monitor on the side.
Two 27" monitors on one of these in addition to my work laptop's own screen for a total of three.
I looked up the model and they're actually VESA compatible. Try looking for dual-monitor VESA mounts.
edit: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Standing-Bolt-through-Adjustable-STAND-V002F/dp/B00C5H5DN0/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=vesa+mount+dual&qid=1599272871&sr=8-11 found this on amazon
If the clamps aren't big enough there's drilling a hole, which I guess isn't an option in your case since I don't think there's room. And your other option is to get the stands. There's multiple monitor arms that have a stand. Just out in stand when you're searching for the monitor arms. Vivo dual monitor stand - Amazon
They're just rotated widescreen monitors.
Monitors and TV's use the VESA standard mounting system. This guy probably used something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Standing-Bolt-through-Adjustable-STAND-V002F/dp/B00C5H5DN0/
Higher end monitors and the Dell Ultrasharp series have more adjustability to do this kinda thing out of the box.
What is a posable arm? I was thinking of getting this to sit on the desk. Give me or room for my keyboard too.

Thanks for the awesome writeup, this is the kind of detail I was looking for. I have a 1080ti as well so I'm hoping to have good framerates. I made an edit to the post saying I have 2 dual screen clamp mounts that I'm hoping to use 2 screws from each post to hold it in place. I have my triples directly behind my wheel currently so getting this close won't be a problem. Motion is another issue, so I may have to get a different mount entirely to use it without bouncing.. It is in the store locally so I guess there is always the option of return if it just won't work out, but I have a feeling I'll be picking this up tonight.. =)
Ah, yeah I would suggest purchasing a new desk top to use any monitor stand if you want it to clamp to the desk. If you just want a free standing dual monitor mount that would be fine, but with the clamp it will likely snap the desktop where it clamps down.
Yes you can have on vertical. It's the vivo mount on Amazon.
Yeah, here you go. https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Standing-Bolt-through-Adjustable-STAND-V002F/dp/B00C5H5DN0
I actually just got it, and its a lot better built than some of the other stands I looked at, but it's still a reasonable price. A couple thoughts though: The thing says it can hold up to 27" monitors, and it probably can, if you spread it all the way out. It also (according to the VIVO website) claims it can hold up to 22 pounds for each monitor. I think this is actually supposed to be 22 pounds total, as even with my two monitors weighing in at 19 pounds total, if they are too far forward, they will tip it over.
Ha I already had the files downloaded for that about a month ago, and will at some point print it out to give it a try. Well thought out and executed solution by the way. I have a 3D printer, and use it to print custom high-power model rocketry parts. Not a big fan of the finish quality of them, stranded layering leaves a rough look. Acetone and other methods of smoothing are too much work for me anymore lol.
I do have the surface dock brick, it is mounted under the plate via Velcro. Only thing I have to attach/detach is the mag dock cable; all else is connected directly to the dock.
Here is a link to the arm setup: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5H5DN0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Note: I am only using the ARMS from the kit, not the post. The post I am using is from an older setup I had and is directly mounted to the desk via a bolt.
I currently have the VIVO single monitor mount, and i like it so far :)
P.S. I used the clip single monitor mount
P.S.S. If you don't like VIVO or had bad experience with the company.. I guess I can't help you with that but I do recommend their mounts! They're also have a good rating and all that stuffs.. :)
Maybe it's not a stupid question but I don't want to make a thread for it:
Where can I find a free-standing VESA dual-monitor mount (needs to stand on the desk, not clamp)? Amazon.co.jp only has super expensive ones. Amazon.com has this one which I can buy but the shipping is half the cost and up to two weeks of waiting. I could deal with that but I'd imagine I can find similar ones here, too. Similar on Rakuten when searching via モニタースタンド. They have single stands but no duals.
Is my search query wrong? Is there a big box store that will have one around 5000 yennies? I won't hold my breath on the second question.
Need a recommendation on a dual monitor mount for my desk. I was looking at this one because I don't trust the screw mounts to hold to my desk. It needs to hold a pg27aq and either a xb271hu(not sure if im returning it yet) or a 24 inch vizio tv I have.

I use one of these. It's nice in that VIVO lets you set your adjustments before you mount it on the arms. Some other mounts require you to hold the monitor up and awkwardly reach around until you can screw the mount on. Or lay it flat on a desk and then finagle a giant stand around.
Downside: the height adjustment is limited.
Have had this stand for 5 years and it's awesome.
It's from Amazon. Pretty sturdy and adjustable, and it's lasted 5+ years so far!

This is the one I use, it’s been amazing so far.
I'd go with this one. I have a screw on one from Vivo and haven't had any issues for years.
I've been using this cheap one for a couple years with two 24 inch monitors. Its been fine.
What kind of thing are you looking for? There are monitor stands that are like an arm, but still sit on the desktop, like this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00C5H5DN0
It's just a generic one I found on amazon. I am considering replacing it with an arm mount that attaches onto the desk. But here's the link if you're curious: Link
Thanks! The monitor stand is this kind of cheap one I found on amazon Link: VIVO STAND

It's pretty solid and cheap, I really like it...
Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any mount with a clamp big enough to accommodate your desk (after looking for one of my own desks), but hopefully someone else will. In the meantime, here are some other options to consider:
(1) If you really want a mount with a clamp, you could try a DIY solution like this.
(2) Now we're getting into non-clamp alternatives. I ended up using this for one of my desks that was too thick.
(3) Then, of course, you can wall mount your monitors, if that's an option based on your layout.
(4) And then a fourth option, where you simply stand something like this behind the desk.
i have this one, i like it but YMMV https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5H5DN0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My monitor arm allows me to rotate it into vertical mode. Here is the link to the monitor I got
You might better benefit from a dual monitor stand
there are LOTs of vesa mounts that doesn't need to drill holes.
monitor mount then I just added one pneumatic arms so I can do the top monitor
Hi, I'm usingthis one and then just bought 1 pneumatic arms for the top monitor
I've seen VESA desk stands for single monitors, like some of these, but dual? Never encountered those. I imagine that those would be pretty hard to balance too, especially if the monitors aren't identical.
EDIT: well, waddayaknow... They do exist! Still, I wouldn't trust that to hold my monitors, but the power of belief can make anything happen.
I got this for my 2 27in curved Samsung. Haven’t had any complaints. Works like a champ.

You could place it in the middle of the table so you aren't taking up a second spot.
2 Options for you here

Looking into buying a dual monitor stand. On amazon I see this one by VIVO and this other one by DURAMEX does anybody have any experience with either brand? Currently my radiator is mounted externally, and I have the 25mm fans in Push-Pull. I guess I would have to move to pull only (Or Push only). Considering it's a 60mm, is the performance loss that big versus push-pull? (Ignoring the fact that the radiator will be internal and therefore warmer).
