I'm about to buy this dual monitor mount for a 27" monitor and a 29" ultrawide monitor. I want to move the monitors such that one of the monitors will be straight on and another will be to the side angled. However I want to be able to switch which monitor is the main monitor. Any objections?
There are different clamp styles that can accommodate that hole. Check out the clamp on https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Premium-Aluminum-Extension-STAND-V102BDU/dp/B07K6X7YY1/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=vivo%2Bpremium%2Barm&qid=1595446171&sr=8-9&th=1&pldnSite=1
I have that one with a similar opening (fairly thin and couldn't get a traditional clamp in).
As secretsqurl mentioned though, you'll want to be careful with what you mount as it is cardboard in the middle. I likely wouldn't trust more than a 10-15lb monitor on the stand, and likely a limited-motion arm to limit the amount of force the tabletop might be subjected to.
Honestly though, I'd go with a better desk if you're planning on putting anything pricey on it. Would suck to save money on a desk only to have it fail and destroy/damage the monitor/keyboard/etc.
Yes though I cannot put the monitor in the center due to my desk layout. Its the VIVO Premium Aluminum Full Motion Dual Monitor Desk
It's a VIVO dual monitor mount: https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Premium-Aluminum-Monitor-STAND-V102BB/dp/B07K6X7YY1/

I just recently got one of these. I'm happy with it. It's fine for my two 1080p screens. You have to tighten the two arms quite a bit to where they rest neutrally with the monitors on them, but otherwise, I'm happy. It clamps or through bolts to the desk in back.
thanks ! i'm using the Vivo premium monitor arm, i wanted to fix the crg9 on it too but that thing is quite hefty https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07K6X7YY1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qiZvDb0PDBEA2
