I went through several monitor arms to find one that could hold several different huge monitors. The VIVO on Amazon is the only one that seemed to work - and it also has a clamp that can fit on thicker desks than most. Here’s a non-commission link - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L8MLTGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Good luck!
I won’t question your reasoning, we all have our preferences, lord knows I’ve tried sooo many different things in my setup 😜
But this might do what you want, I did something similar to my monitors a while back: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L8MLTGS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I bought that monitor at Christmas, it's beautiful.
The stand is huge and I picked up a monitor arm that worked with it's larger than normal weight.

VIVO Premium Aluminum Heavy Duty Monitor Arm
No trouble clamping it, the clamp section allows you to set it up in a way that supports larger, and thinner desks. I just had to make sure I was clamping it into a solid part of the desk, so that's why it's in the area where the legs screw in.
15.4 pounds, simple plate stand, no swivel or anything. You really fcked yourself over by trying to save money.
Let's say you paid $10 shipping, that's 20% of the item's cost. Which is in itself a bad purchase.
I bought This some months ago - 33 pounds, nice bracket to hold it, swivel and turn, holds my 34" ultrawide monitor just fine, none of that "just about" nonsense. And I just KNOW you're gonna tip it over eventually.
Paid $100 for mine plus shipping, let's say $10 too. 10% the item's cost. But it's gonna last me forever, don't even think about damaging my monitor or tipping it over, and I can basically pull on it to help me stand up. Bad investment man.
I've been using this arm with my CRG9 for about a year and a half. No issues and much cheaper than Ergotron.

The brand is ViVO - Amazon find with decent reviews. It took my wife and I a good 15 mins off adjusting the mount to get it to move nicely. This mount also comes an option to drill holes and mount it directly to the desk, I'm going to do that but we are moving soon so I'll do it in the new place. The clamp mount is good but it's definitely pushing the limit with that monitor.
Absolutely this one right here, VIVO Premium Aluminum Heavy Duty Monitor Arm for 17 to 32 inch Standard Screens or 49 inch Ultrawides up to 33 lbs, Single Desk Mount Stand, Pneumatic Height, Max VESA 100x100, Black, STAND-V101G1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L8MLTGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_6T1RT7CEJW59MCNYGPJA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You would probably want to get a pneumatic swing arm vesa mount. You would need to drill and securely bolt the mount to your rig, but it could be done pretty easily as long as you have the right drill bits.
Here is one that would fit your monitor. You can see pictures of it mounted in the reviews
The tilt was a little bit of a challenge as it’s not spring loaded but manageable. Used a little extra lube on the joints to make sure moved smooth as well. This is the mount. VIVO Premium Aluminum Heavy Duty Arm, Standard and Widescreen Single Monitor Desk Mount with Instant Pneumatic Spring Height Adjustment, VESA Stand fits 1 Screen up to 32 inches, STAND-V101G1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L8MLTGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_FTYG5Z5APARPTCXMYJVJ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The stand.
I have tried using it on the side, but for my workflow it’s better in the middle. I more or less just need to lower my head. But thank you for the suggestion.
I’d recommend a stand like this Monitor Arm. Takes up almost 0 space on your desk, not to mention the gained adjustment and customization. Also let’s you push it RIGHT to the back edge of your desk which frees up tons of work space.
Have the same one for my huge 43” LG 16:9 and it holds it with room to spare!
This one. It is great except the tilt you have to really crank on with all your might so it basically locks permanently. Make sure if you get it that you prop the monitor on a box before letting go of it and while adjusting. The arm is made for the weight and a lot more, but the center of gravity on the curved displays like this is a little overload for the friction tilt. If you want one that the tilt works better I think you have to go with ergotron, but they are like $200 more.
sorry apparently its not called that, its just looks like a scissor arm. thats on me.
the one i bought for the upcoming G9 refresh is this one right here
I'm using this VIVO arm off Amazon, some reviews on that arm are also using a 49 inch monitor. At $99.99 I think it's the most affordable option. The tilt/pivot head did require that screw being cranked down but it holds my G9 fine.
It may be the vivo premium monitor arm. I've got a variation of the arm linked below and it's done a solid job of holding up my Dell 38 inch monitor.
VIVO Heavy Duty arm
It works great, you'll have to tighten the tilt mechanism very hard for the monitor not to droop forward.

Canadian link but id imagine its also in the US store if you are from there 😅.
I never had an arm before but it was easy to set up. I gather the tension control could be better on some Of those 350 dollar arms but its doing the job well Enough
It´s this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L8MLTGS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
Edit: a letter
Hey! Im using this one:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L8MLTGS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
It holds well! No wobble either.
I already put together an Apex 2-Leg, C-Leg, 27.5”, Mid-Range w/ Smart Paddle with a 48x30 HPL top for my GF’s WFH setup, so putting this together wasn’t terribly different...it was just as easy.

80x30 HPL Top in Planked Urban Oak color
On top of the HPL:

Here’s some of the goodies I used for cable management:

I have the dual version of this and it holds my dual aw's just fine.

This monitor arm fits perfectly in the tray area i'm super happy with it and it's $50 cheaper than the one that they started selling.
I got this one because it holds a bit more weight than others.
Thank you!

I use this VIVO stand and a VESA adapter to great effect. The C1 is almost as heavy as the G9 it replaces. It handled both with no issue. You will probably use a bit of tilt adjustment and it's definitely a two person job (I did it with by myself and my back regrets it)

?????
I use this for my ultrawide, 100 bucks and works perfectly
Everything was like... $400, ended up going for this bad boy. Only CAD$139.99. Works FLAWLESSLY. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07L8MLTGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use this one for my G34WQC and it works great. I paid $104 CAD for it at the time.
How much should I sell my:

I got this one twice. Works great. No issues wobble or anything. Holds my 34” for work and 38” for desktop.

This one.
Here’s the model I use for the CRG9 I have. Its not too crazy of a price for the INSANE build quality you get! Cant recommend it enough!
VIVO Premium Aluminum Heavy Duty... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L8MLTGS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I bought this one on a hunch that it would be able to support it: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07L8MLTGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So far so good. Initially I was eyeing the Ergotron HX, but that was was something like 4x more expensive in CAD $ - so I figured I'd first try the Vivo one and if it couldn't hold it up, then I'd splurge on the HX. But after 2 weeks it's holding up strong. I've positioned a book under it just in case it gives out, that it won't slam against the desk. I've left about 2mm of room between the book and the TV to see if it will slowly start lowering itself, so I could tell when it might need tightening. Overall very pleased with it.
This one from VIVO has been working well for my CRG9.
I've just gone by weight supported and not screen size? I have this one and it has been fantastic. I intend to put my 38" Alienware when it shows up on it.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L8MLTGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The CRG9 is ~26 lbs without the stand, all you need to do is take a look at mounts that can support over that weight and you're fine, aspect ratio shouldn't really matter..
You can use this Vivo Premium Heavy Duty Arm for $100 based on reviews (I personally don't use it). I have the WALI Single Heavy Duty Mount which doesn't seem to be in stock but I got it for around $100 as well. Both are way below the $300 for the HX. From what I remember, the HX is only really necessary for the G9 and not the CRG9 because of the tilt and additional weight, the HX + additional heavy duty tilt is one of the few mounts that can support that setup.
There are a handful of arms out there that'll hold monitors with a similar weight (e.g., Ergotron HX, VIVO Premium Aluminum Heavy Duty Arm, etc.), but I personally have the Ergotron LX HD Sit-Stand Desk Arm because of the amount of height I can achieve with the arm. I really like having the option to put the monitor higher, etc. depending on what I'm doing and the like (in the picture, the monitor arm is only half of its max height). On a side note, I personally don't like the chrome-like finish on the LX and am thinking of plastidipping it in black, but idk - Hope this helps!
I got this VIVO arm recently for mine and it's working quite well.
I have a CRG90 and this mount has been great, you just have to make sure you tighten everything up enough: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07L8MLTGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use the Vivo premium arm, which is really nice. Solid construction and very steady.
My monitor is the LG38WN95C, which weighs 14lbs. Ignore the screen size recommendation on the arms and focus on the weight they support. This one supports up to 33lbs, which is great for my monitor (and the redundancy is good peace of mind).

It's pretty sturdy to be honest. The desk has a mild wobble when in the standing position, but not enough to bug me.
It’s a VIVO arm. I’m pretty happy with it
