Hey! Just a bit of an update, so I actually instead got a VESA mount made for laptops/tablets just to give it a shot. Can update you tomorrow on how sturdy/well it works if you'd like. Hoping I can screw it tight enough so that it doesn't move when in use.
Aeron chair, maxed out specs 2022 MacBook Pro, 27” 4K Dell monitor and Kensington trackball. This bar/arm/platform combo elevates the MacBook so the bottom of the screen aligns with the bottom of the monitor: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CM9NG1W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
A GH2 mirrorless camera with vintage 28mm 2.8 lens acts a very high quality webcam, and the shallow depth of field blurs the room. Camera connects to MacBook pro via HDMI to USB adaptor ($20). Camera mounts to the laptop platform bar using Dinkum clamp.
It’s attached to the side of the desk using a mount arm. I’ll link it below. It is a big space saver!
VIVO Single Laptop Notebook Desk Mount Stand - Fully Adjustable Extension with C Clamp (STAND-V001L) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CM9NG1W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_T3H5XG9DSKDZXSYM4ZXE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I got so sick of having the lap-top on the desk I just bought one of these laptop arms off Amazon. Much cleaner having the real-estate under the laptop now!
Something like this might suit your need. The clamp will help free up space on your desk and the arm looks like it can articulate which would help to bring it closer or push farther away as needed.
The sound bar has decent sound for the price. The sound is clear and has decent base. I use my Razer headset when I want better sound though.
This is the laptop stand. It is great!

Sure here you go VIVO Single Laptop Notebook Desk Mount Stand - Fully Adjustable Extension with C Clamp (STAND-V001L) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CM9NG1W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NznQDbS1R0V4B
I’d say pick it up ASAP this is the cheapest I’ve seen this price.
I think if you get a higher desk you'll find you still lean in on the laptop monitor. I don't like the desktop converters that you link to personally. I always find them awkward to use regularly. I have clients with them and avoid those cubes when possible.
Like others have suggested, get an external keyboard and mouse. Then get yourself either a laptop stand that will bring the screen up to a better height for you, an external monitor that will give you a bigger screen/better height, or a stand that will hold your laptop and an external monitor giving you two functional screens.
yeah i didn't even put the arms on my chair because i often have to track guitar and bass, i much prefer not having them
personally I think the surface area on the Output desk looks great! but if you have lots of controllers and stuff it's annoying to reach over. I personally would recommend one of these (not this brand, I got this brand and there is an issue with the platter/surface itself not staying locked vertically) https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Notebook-Adjustable-Extension-STAND-V001L/dp/B00CM9NG1W
then you can bring stuff forward or push it away as you need it. if you end up with some touch controls like a raven this will be super helpful

Evening
Being a desktop guy for decades, recently switched to laptop and faced this problem - so many devices to connect, so few ports to use. Keyboard, mouse, camera, audio mixer, 3 external drives, drive reader, wacom, card reader, external dvd etc etc. And only 3 USB ports to use. So since I've been using laptop mount stand anyway, decided to make it more usable and look a bit better than just a hub hanging around desk.
For laptop stand I use VIVO V001L (right now we have 3 laptops and 7 monitors and all using same modified VIVO stands for laptops and VIVO V002 & 003 mounts for monitors, highly recommended) , for under stand USB hub some cheap 7 ports with individual power switch hub off Amazon. For right angle cables Antrader USB 3.0 90 degree up and down 4 adapters set. And for right angle Micro USB for hub StarTech 20" micro USB 3.0 right angle cable .
The reason why I choose this hub it's 'cos first of all it small, has enough ports and easy to open - and that last part was most important. So how it works - you need to open USB hub with a knife or any other tools. Then you need to make a riser to lift up hub to be able to get access to USB ports. You can use whatever you want, print it or even piece of wood I guess, but I did it with few pieces of styrene glued together. Next you need to get a few really small screws and basically screw down bottom part of hub body from inside to that riser. Make sure you'll be able to find spots that not going to get in touch with circuit board. Other way is just to glue it to riser without even open that hub, it's up to you. Assemble hub back and screw down riser to laptop shelf. And you are done with a hard part. The rest is just to install those right angle USB adapters, secure it with tie wraps and you have yourself a neat looking 7 port USB hub mounted under laptop shelf stand. Take a look at photos for more details.
Currently I am using this hub plus 10 port mounted powered metal hub under table top on Alex's side, next to mounted 14TB external drive, headphones mount and bunch of other things. And that's how it looks from top lol No hubs hanging around, no cables sticking up from laptop, all neat and secured.
P.S. not really for cable management hardcore fans, sacrificed most of it to the altar of flexibility and easy access.

this should be it😁
Suportul de laptop e ca să nu te incurci de el (de laptop), ceva de genul ăsta, gasesti si mai ieftin prin magazinele noastre.
Suportul de monitor e acesta, se gaseste si fix, dar mie mi-a placut ca il pot regla.
Ce dimensiuni doresti sa aiba monitorul si va fi folosit exclusiv pentru lucru adica no gaming at all?
Laptop stand is from Amazon (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00CM9NG1W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

It's an arm that attaches to the side of my table, like my monitor :)
Get something like this, would look amazing if you could fit it towards the right of the desk
I’d invest in a laptop arm like this https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Single-Laptop-Notebook-Mount/dp/B00CM9NG1W/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=laptop+stand+arm&qid=1595191062&sr=8-3 and a wireless keyboard
Did you find the laptop stand you were looking for? I have one on my desk that works well for me and it’s height adjustablelaptop rack with clamp for desk on amazon

anytime! yeah, i really wanted those ekby tore's too :( but i might get this and use the top platform as a shelf so to speak, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CM9NG1W/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3W3STWCK1O3NR
It's this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CM9NG1W?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 quite affordable, no drilling, and holds 22lbs. Technically according to specs it could hold the Sub37 but I wouldn't test it.
