Ontario here too, have you checked amazon? Vivosun has a good selection of tents for an excellent price! Here's the link to their tents, just select one of the 5 sizes -> https://www.amazon.ca/VIVOSUN-Horticulture-Hydroponic-Obeservation-Growing/dp/B01DXYMQ9M/ref=lp_11914446011_1_6?srs=11914446011&ie=UTF8&qid=1555178839&sr=8-6
Something like this. There are different sizes.

It's very light weight it's meant for use in a semi climate controlled space. It won't hold heat, there made to do the opposite to help disperse the heat from the lights.
You don't need a tent to start. You'll only need it when you flip to flower to enforce the 12 hours of darkness. Most strains veg for at least month or two. Put back $10/wk for 8 weeks and boom! you have money for a tent. Vegging longer won't hurt the plant, so just veg till you have a tent.
Here is the tent I use for $73 USD
I've been using this one for two plants and has had a good amount of room. Only wish it were maybe a foot taller or longer but can always size up and only makes things feel a bit crowded up top.

Honestly depends on the space you have and what you plan to grow. 6' height is for sure great. 2x4 should give you freedom to not think or worry about space anymore. That is kinda luxury size though. This would be a great size for you to start. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DXYMQ9M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_gE7HFbM46GF98
I have a new grow tent. Too bad I can’t use that somehow!

Was going to DIY this year with a roll of thick Mylar and PVC but found this on Amazon for $70. It’s 5 ft tall, 4 ft long, and 2 ft wide. Metal frame and feels/looks extremely quality for the price point. I’m running a 2 bulb VHO T5 fixture I picked up a few years ago. Here’s the link if anyone’s looking for something similar.

That's the tent I added.
I also added 3 HLG100 lights so I still use the 2x2 for veg and just move the plants to the 2x4 to flower. aka, the perpetual harvest.
Would this not work: grow tent :
2 feet by 4 feet. 5 feet tall.

How effective your exterior vent could depend on a few things, some of which will come down to things like how well you get crossflow winds down the side of your home where you vent window is going to be located, how long your run is both from your printer to the window and the elevation change.
The trick with moving air is volume and velocity down as short a run(s) as possible to maintain air transfer cycling in and out of the system. That's not to say you can't move a ton of air anywhere you want, but the longer the runs, the more complicated you'll need to plan your flow rates and what you're going to be pushing or pulling it with.
Just as an example, my ideal window unit would have my printer directly beneath it with good crossflow coming in a one way-valved type opening on one side of the machine and exiting the other, then feed up to the window with a smallish twin fan enclosure like this Twin fan window unit (I don't endorse this particular unit, just for visual demonstration) offering plenty of evacuation scalability if you really need to crank it up. You'd have to check whatever solution you end up going with to see how much air it can effectively move, as you'll want more capacity than you'll need when you choke off the the available air to whatever you can suck through a tube versus what it can do with an open room.
Most printers for the home user don't circulate air directly into the printing area, it's mostly for cooling of the LCD screen and UV light array that build up heat, so you'll more than likely have to make some edits to your cover, or what I've seen done is people get a grow tent as an enclosure, some of which come with mounts for tubing already. This one looked fairly promising though I've not used it personally grow tent on Amazon
Heating the chamber with ventilation in place is something you'll have to check, but if/when I get to that point, I plan to use something like this which is a reptilian heating pad. I happen to have one already from past experiments in accelerating fermentation of things, but mine is sealed in a slightly different material for being waterproof and I plan to mount it inside the print chamber, where yet to be determined. The one I have will bump up the ambient temp by at least 30*F and maintain it quite nicely in an enclosure (my target temp was ~130*F for my experiment, but ambient was already 85+F, and the purpose was more to maintain the fermentation temp to protect it from dips versus using it directly for a heat source). Using a space heater is an option, but you'll only be heating the area around your printer and more than likely blowing it right out of your system, which is a bit of a waste.

That’s like 300$ without pots and soil, could run 1-2 plants in here. Dm me and I can send out a few seeds to you when I have some free time. Will need to drop like another 100-150 when you hit flower if smell is an issue for exhaust/carbon filter

This one?
The light looks very small for that size unless ur growing just 1 plant then it should be okay.

I'm only going to ever do a few autos at a time.
Some of the auto strains they have now are killer too and if you get good genetics you could do two plants in 5gal fabric pots in a 2x4x5 (feet) with a mars ts1000 and carbon filter, couple small clip fans and you’d be good. Probably get all that for under 300$ US. Not including soil/ nutes. I stagger mine for perpetual harvest while I crop out my photos in a 4x4x8. Could harvest in 70 days or so with the autos which is nice. Here’s a link to my little auto tent on Amazon it’s awesome no light leaks or smell.

This is the cheapest but I would suggest the cloud line 4” if you can hack it
Message me if you wanna see my set up it’s really simple. Happy growing!
That's a shame. I live in Canada, so no worries about that anymore.
For stealth purposes, a lightproof tent and a carbon filter are huge bonuses.
Reducing footprint size is another approach. /r/SpaceBuckets is a good resource for that approach.
Hey! As always, thanks to everyone for helping me get better at this hobby.
As you can see from the album, I've got one clone of the Cookie Shots from the Unofficial Good Guys. Other than the yellowing of the leaves, which I can't quite figure out, the grow has gone pretty well so far. My last plants seemed to take FOREVER to get from this stage to harvest so we'll show it goes with my new kick ass 3VL light fixture. The difference between this and my old setup is staggering.
My last grow with two plants and the budget setup yielded something in the neighborhood of six ounces, and I'm hoping to replicate that yield with this single plant given the new light. We'll see.

I've never had any issues with yellowing leaves before, and I don't think it's a big concern, but if any of you experts know more than I do please chime in and let me know your thoughts. Grow details are below if anyone gives a rip.
For your $300 budget.
QB 135 kit @ 3000K.
Rest to fans, filters, soil, pots, nutes, etc.
Put up some kind of divider if you want, but just grow on one ~2x2' side with that light. When you can afford it, get another 135w kit light and run the whole 2x4'. I'd go two large plants SCroG in a 2x4. You could do more, smaller plants if you choose.
This is it :) - planning on doing 4x2 tent. You think 1 of these is okay, or two ?
Cool, okay I think this may work - I need the whole QB kit and planning 4x2 tent for two plants (I’ve got 4 seeds hoping they aren’t all guys lol)
2' x 4' grow tent, Cheap LED light fixture. Now the seeds are sprouted I am going to be using 2 square tubs and some 5 gal buckets for DWC hydroponics. I grew way to many seedlings so i will grow them out in the tent until spring and move most outside and keep some in DWC inside. This will be my first Hydroponics/indoor setup so most has been what i've seen on youtube/reddit.
Here's what I just bought to do about the same thing you're looking to do. I had to buy a bit of a smaller box due to height restrictions but this has been working great for me.

Timber Grow Lights 3VL - this thing is a beast and very well built - $450
Vivosun 2 x 4 x 5 Grow Tent - big enough for what I need without taking up the entire space I have - $75

That matches up pretty well with the cost of the 400w kit that you linked to, but I think you'd be getting a much more efficient light (that may also be a better light overall, but I can't really speak to it since I'm not familiar with what that kit company provides and I'm too lazy to dig into it).
