This is the one I’ve used for years and it’s still working good.

The recommended hang height for that in veg is 24 inches at 100%. Which means 12 inches at 25% is the same thing. So you probably won’t be able to go much above 30-35% while in veg

Ah, I see. Yeah, and I have only close to 10% runoff when I water. I need to start watering with more water to induce more runoff to help flush the soil. Vivosun makes this TDS / EC meter. Do you have any resources I could read more on what measurements I should be looking for and what they tell me about my soil? I'd love to read more and learn how to read the measurements!

I’ll have to look up NER . Currently I do the recirculating because I don’t empty my bucket every time. I don’t really have a good method of doing this and I forgot to add a little sticker before I started this grow because I got too eager. I use lava rocks as my medium or whatever they are called lol.
